I'd like to see a video about why you don't like Anzu's bonus episode and what you'd change. I'd like to see that. That sounds interesting 👍

I mean, I feel like the main reason why they don't like Anzu's bonus episode is that it doesn't really add anything of substance to the story. It gives us some insight into why Anzu looks the way she does in terms of appearance. But that's it really. It doesn't tell us anything we already don't know. And it is basically only there as a comedic episode rather than an episode that gives lore.

@winters_revolt that's partly why i didn't like anzu's past episode, but not the complete reason, actually! we get some lore by meeting ryuu, which is nice, but there isn't enough emphasis placed on anzu. i wish she got more development, like kai or alice did in their episodes. that's the crux of my issue tbh!

@yourturntorant I can actually agree with that. I haven't played the other side episodes. I don't really know a lot about Ryuu, but I am guessing that is Hinako's brother. I am not completely caught up on the lore since I haven't beaten the Sou/Alice route or put time into Your Time to Shine yet. But yeah, Anzu herself is weirdly overshadowed in her own episode despite her having the most screen time in it. Especially since Kai's and Alice's episodes ars fantastic. Kai's especially is really compelling and well done, and Alice's episode adds so much to the inherent tragedy their story tells and I hope we see more of them take some spotlight in either of the Emotion routes. Since Logic has them both die no matter what (Thanks, Ranmaru! /sar).

Nice to see you back! And yeah, while not my favorite, I do think Alice's past episode it pretty nice and does it's job well, getting more lore on the bongos is always nice
