That was an absolutely captivating interview. As a father myself, I was particularly intrigued by the fact that she managed to connect online using her father's computer during a time when computers were hardly in use. It was both amusing and provided a glimpse into the remarkable image of a father who has done such an exquisite job raising his daughter. Furthermore, her journey of becoming a watercolor artist in America, participating in exhibitions, and actually making the journey to the United States left me truly impressed by her determination and unwavering resolve. I have no doubt that she is destined for great success. I want to express my gratitude for introducing us to such an extraordinary artist, whose personality and artwork are equally remarkable. Finally, I couldn't help but be curious about the story behind her journey to the United States. I would love to learn more about how she managed to make her way here.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging comment. My father is indeed an amazing person, as you mentioned. Unfortunately, he experienced a heart issue ten years ago, which resulted in memory impairment affecting his brain. He now receives caregiving support. Growing up, I was greatly influenced and shaped by his presence. Regarding my journey, my family immigrated to the United States in 2003. We lived in Michigan, Boston, and Chicago at different times. We briefly returned to Japan but then moved back to the US in 2011, settling in Seattle. Currently, I reside in Alaska.
