Gabriel I’m amazed you drew so dark to start. I roll my eraser to lighten but I wash my hands prior not to leave oils. I worry about affecting the grain of the paper. Do you worry about flattening the grain?

Gabriel, I love your style! This was my first "paint along". I'm glad I didn't have to pause too much. Even with crap paper, and bad paint it came out ok. I hope to be better equipped soon.

Suggestion for organizing all those wonderful paints! I purchased a plastic container at Hobby Lobby that has multiple cases that snap shut. I separated out the greens, yellows, browns blues etc...then labeled the little see through plastic containers so it's easy to find the color you want!! It was a life saver for me! And it helps keep the paints fresh

@@GabrielStocktonWatercolors I liked the sketch first that allowed for the placement of the other roof/door. I like the side building too. The background with the mountains was so nice. But maybe the roofs most of all. I like the confident brushstrokes you mentioned and how the white was added or saved. Really like it!
