Sean Grayson was only in the Army for 1 year and 4 months. Army basic training is about 2.5 months and his MOS school was about 3 months. So he was only in the fleet doing his job for 10 months before the Army decided that he was such a liability that they would rather kick him out. I have seen soldiers get DUI's and they don't get kicked out of the Army they get demoted. Also, in his 1st DUI he had a loaded handgun in center console with no CCW, weed and extra magazines in his glove compartment. His passenger took the blame for the weed. Sean was driving around drunk more than twice the legal limit with a loaded handgun.

Yes, when Sonya was crouched on the floor she did reach up and grab the pot of water (which she had previously half -emptied in the sink). Sonya grabbed the pot because both officers were repeatedly screaming "drop the pot", so she grabbed the pot, held it over her head, then actually began pouring the water onto the floor. This is when Dep. Grayson fired his weapon and the remainder of the water landed on the chair or stool next to Sonya (steam can be seen rising from the stool in the video). She never threw the contents of the pot at Dep. Grayson, she was attempting to empty the contents so that she could "drop the pot" as she was instructed.

Dude is 6’5”. He did not have to move any closer to clearly anything - his eyeballs could clearly see what his body cam couldn’t. Which was her on the floor covering her head w/pot holders & that the pot was still on the counter as he advanced for no reason, w/the gun he pulled also for no reason, yelling at her to drop something she didn’t have. Also, any water thrown was NOT boiling. It had been removed from the stove & seemed to have some tap water added. Even if it didn’t have any water added, it had been removed from the heat & if thrown that water wasn’t boiling anymore & I call bs that ANY water on the floor was “steaming”. There’s zero way that water stayed boiling hot thru all that and zero reason he thought he was in any danger bc even if she did throw it (which she did drop it bc HE kept screaming at her to do that!) there’s zero chance she could even throw it that far (which he proved by saying it got to his boots - after he MOVED CLOSER to her). There’s no way she could have reached him where he initially stood. And if he was so scared for his life why did he MOVE CLOSER?! Bottom line is his eyeballs are 6’5” so they saw what his body cam didn’t. He saw the pot still on the counter when she dropped to the floor (that he could also clearly see that she was just holding pot holders over head) but still advanced on her, still pointed his gun & still screamed at her to drop the pot - that his eyeballs could clearly see was still on the counter. Also, I don’t remember him handling her her bible. She asked him to but I don’t think he did. Lastly we’ll never know why they were in her house bc that dirtbag didn’t have his body cam on & Deputy Farley was over by the car bc dirtbag told him to run the registration (for what reason?? It was parked on private property!). When he walked back to the porch - the dirtbag was already inside her house so he entered as well. But we’ll never know if she invited them in or if dirtbag just invited himself in. One other thing - afterwards on his body cam almost immediately he was asking dispatch is there was something in her history to justify what he just did & later on he was telling other officers that she set them up. Like she called them there on purpose to purposely throw boiling water on them.

Mr. Grayson's reports represent the worst reporting writing from an investigator or police officer/deputy. The reports contain intentional false statements, contradictory statements, misleading statements, vague statements etc. In addition Mr. Grayson intentionally excluded important information from the reports (omissions). The deficiences in these reports constitute fraud in that both documents (1) misrepresent the facts, (2) conceal true information, and (3) lack the disclosure of material facts. However, despite these intergrity issues, the prosecution can still use the reports (assuming that they are admitted as evidence by the judge) to prove the elements of Grayson's alleged crimes of first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct. For example, some of the statements in the reports, including the omissions, are incriminating against Mr. Grayson in that the statements can be used to prove his mental state of intent or knowledge (e.g. mens rea/guilty mind) and causation, along with the voluntary act (e.g. actus reus/guilty act), with respect to the first degree murder charge.

In another discussion, someone said that when the service weapon is drawn, the body cam is turned on. As you mentioned, when that happens the previous 60 seconds is preserved and becomes part of the recording. I remember after the shooting that the redacted deputy said something about the body cam being on. I initially thought that deputy was saying that his own body camera was on but now I think he might’ve been telling Grayson that his body camera was on, instead. At any rate, Grayson seem to be surprised to hear that information if Grayson’s body cam had turned on automatically, he would’ve not known how much was recorded and that could explain his initial very brief description of what happened. I think he didn’t want to write anything down that might be contradicted by the bodycam video later. Thank you for your research and your very detailed explanations.

I don't think many people are focusing on grayson's video. He definitely turned it on before he shot her. His report does leave important things out, but cops don't go to jail over reports that skips or mixes up details. Not that I know of. The problem is everything grayson said about Sonia right before he shot her, happened. In his video, Sonia bends down a second time. Then she raises slightly, grabs the pot off the counter, holds the handle like a baseball and motions like she is throwing it. I also thought she might have gotten confused. Maybe she thought he actually wanted her to drop the pot on the floor, but that throwing motion above her head will cause problems. You can even see steam/smoke coming from the floor near the cabinet and the black chair. IMO, she had to burn herself. If they prove that, it will be problems. Another thing. Sonia was in no hurry to get rid of those cops and her fib about the car stalled them even further. She even tried to keep dispatch on the phone. That's why I'm worried he will not get the time he deserves.

I believe Sonya grabbed the pot to shield her head and face frame Sean's weapon after he advanced her after threatening to harm her after she apologized and surrendered. Sonya poured the water out to shield with the pot on the counter after crouching down and Sean was moving in with a weapon drawn and pointed at her.

I'm assuming that "Grayson" did NOT write this. This is a guy that can barely put sentences together. This doesn't even sound like him. So, either this was made by someone who watched the footage and wanted to protect the department, or he used AI or something to put this story together for him. I'm going with the first option. I highly doubt that this man after being fired went into the system and put this amending statement in the system. That doesn't even make sense to me. Why would I go back into the system after I got fired? How would I even do that?
