I've owned my Blazer EV for 3 months now, and I don't mind having Phone connectivity. I still get calls and texts but I have learned to use "hay google" for everything else and I mean try it. I do have the ability to Level 2 charge at home and also have ICE vehicles for the unpredictable long hauls, but that being said the offset of gas and electricity costs are enough to make it cheaper to commute to and from the city and back with only one charge a week

Glad to hear it's working out for you! Having a home charger is certainly a must.

curious? Did the supreme court rule for or against on-stars data collection probe? Does Canada have the same issue? The Bolt in the usa was collecting data and giving it to the insurance industry for years causing huge increases in the cost to insure the bolt. This data collection included recordings of conversation in the cars, including video, Those conversations included a lot of private personal info, and a lot of it was shared with authorities and hospitals and other businesses. This caused a huge class action lawsuit.. which in the USA caused the bolt to be recalled from new car sales for three years till the next generation is released. From what i understand it was a total software redesign on an outgoing model that caused the end of sale.. Does this one record everything you do, video, audio, and telemetrics? 😂

Not sure about that honestly, I haven't heard about it in Canada at least. I'd be disappointed if OnStar was recording my drive all the time though, they're going to have to sift through a lot of swearing as I deal with typical drivers on the 401 🤣
