If you're Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan etc. you eat your dhal, bhat, talkarie with your fingers. If you're European you eat with knife & fork ! So yes ! A knife !

I am offended as a person from India, Konkan region in Maharashtra state famous for Alphonso mangoes. 😅 It looks like Kesari mango which is second to the great Alphonso. Even Atuolfa mango is good

It has nothing to do with the type of mango but the environment it is growing in. They clearly stated that the low humidity the high sunshine and the high altitude is what give this mango. It’s incredible taste. Maharashtra is not in high altitude, so you cannot compare the mangos from there.

Agree, that's a carabao mango, even green or unripe are still delicious, just add salt, vinegar and black pepper or chillies, it can be fish sauce...When they are ripe, they are irresistible due to its sweetness, aroma, fleshy and juicy, though if you eat too much, it increases your blood sugar.. ripe.mangoes are not good for diabetic patients ..

Gordon you are in the wrong country to be searching for the exotic mangoes that you mention. The world's most exotic mangoes is found in Pakistan with a variety name of Chaunsa. They are available in the UK at this time of the year from the local Asian shop so you must find and try them out; then you will know what a real mango taste likes.
