Uncut Luba 5000 on 34 degree slope

Some weeks ago I released a short version of my Luba 5000 mowing some of (actually most of) our lawn. That video showed the larger areas in timelapse followed by some steep 34-degree incline mowing which you can see here:

This video is an uncut version taken the same day of the small 10m2 area. These section of the lawn was cut multiple times as I was trying to figure out the best setup for mowing this steep section with the Luba 5000.
There is no commentry in this video, only ambient sounds. I've added text at various locations to better describe where the mower is at.

Thks, very interesting. I just bought the same, I'm waiting for it mid august, and I also have a steep garden that was very wild, I just bought it and cleaned it, maybe a bit less steep, but with more "rough" plants (mainly brambles trying to restart) on the ground. I really hope it will roll over it 🙂

I wish you well with your new Luba. There are some guides or deflectors on each side at the bottom. Mine was caught up once in some long brambles which stopped it moving at the very edge of one of my areas. So now I make sure the edges are trimmed with no overgrowth that can stop the mower cutting. What I have noticed along the edges where the high grass or plants are near the edge, the mower does move a lot slower as it senses with the ultrosonic sensors that something is close, so I guess it moves slower and with caution. What that translates to is a very long perimeter session especially on the first cut. Subsequent perimeter cuts go faster as the mower is farther away from the edge.

@@allbecomesiron I assume you're asking @astree214 for a response!? From my experience on this slope, you need good dry weather for this to work well. On this day I was lucky to have had a few days of dry weather and so the ground was mostly dry. There is quite a bit of moss and I found the bottom of the Luba5000 did at times get stuck against that in some places when going up hill. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed. Our lawn is pretty smoothe with some rough spots (small ditches from neighbours cows kindly inviting them selves in), but generally, the wheel grip and weight is what given this machine good traction and ability to cut most places. Since I filmed this clip, we've had very few days without rain so the ability to dry adequately has not been met and therefore I've not been able to mow this again with the Luba. This summer has just be terrible with the rain we've had - this is not a complaint - many people in the world are in desperate need of rain a water so we are grateful for what we have.

The 1st perimeter was the outside cut. Subsequent perimeter cuts will be the next inner cuts until all perimeter cuts are complete. Then the rest of the lawn is cut
