this hotel is not actually a Sheraton. It is Sheraton in name only. It is actually a Luxury Collection hotel. More of a boutique, true 5 star hotel rather than a run of the mill Sheraton. A Sheraton in the US is like a Best Western in comparison to the SGS. All of the top Marriott properties in Bangkok are stellar. I've stayed at them all. My order of preference is SGS>JW>StR>Athenee> Soi 22> WGS> Soi 57. StR has a nice hard product but is comparatively overpriced unless you're staying on points. Plats and above gush over the SGS for its dining, but JW is my favorite for dining due to BBCO and the steakhouse. WGS is the most laid back. SGS is tops due to Elite recognition and benefits. Suite upgrades not so much, but soft product is truly 5-star stellar. WGS and SGS are best for location, honorable mention to soi 57.

My favorite bar, night club in Bangkok is there. The Living Room, with great live music. I go there to listen frequently. The video went up the stair right outside The Living Room.

Seen this hotel built up from scratch decade ago, there was not T21 mall. Still kept it very nice.

Alex, nice hotel, I can tell you really like Marriott Bonvoy properties. Yea they very good. There is fabulous hotel in Singapore, the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. Next time you travel, you should try to visit it and do a review. I want to see it, haha.

Bangkok is beautiful city but Sukhumvit is so crowded i stayed there for about 2 weeks and was happy to return home lol i overestimated the cities population queit a bit ! .

You have done quite a few hotels in Bangkok now. I think the best one is the Okura, what do you think? I think you are American right? Now you cannot travel to Asia and Europe just banned all Americans. So it's your chance to review hotels in USA now. But nobody wants to go to the USA now because of the high cases of Coronavirus over there. Travel industry not looking too good my friend.
