I've had an 8-door Kaguya deck sleeved up for ages. But if I don't get my 0/0 kaguya CXC, the deck fumbles. 0/0 chika would help so much.

The most recent video is pretty close to what I'm still playing. I tested some more early game Ryo cards to try and fit in the trait-wipe but I don't think it's necessary.

What’s the reasoning for this Kaguya finisher over the Chika burn 2/3 or the event Kaguya burn 3? I never played it because of the on reverse condition. Is that not a problem nowadays or is burn 1 twice worth the trade off?

Three reasons. 1. It's really efficient. 1 stock 1 discard for 2 burn 1s is insanely good value and allows you to use more resources over the course of the game or on the final turn. 2. Her burn effects are separate, so even if you don't get the climax you can still burn 1 when she reverses a battle opponent as long as you can resonate. 3. Her resonate burn effect is cross-turn, so if they carelessly crash into her (often because after cxc she's 11500 base) you can discard to burn even more.

@@ChairmanTCG Ah, definitely see how having the burn without a climax might come in handy. Also didn't realize the power was cross turn. What would you do if you hit 3 and they're still 2/2-2/3? It doesn't seem like burn 1 twice has the potential to kill from that low

In this deck I'll try to stall another turn, with the defensive event counters and freefresh counter you have a decent chance of surviving from 3/0 If you have a ton of resources (stock) to blow you can try for triple combo + triple Ishigami event, that actually kills from mid-level 2 fairly reliably.

In addition to Chairman's three reasons in his first comment, Kaguya works without a full board, unlike the Chika that requires 4 other characters beside itself to be present.
