just with gravity like most gravity systems. Slow drip. If you want a fast way,...this isn't it.

how do you stop the flow of water? Do you need to unscrew it from the water bag?

Yes or raise it near the end but if you use a big bottle with same quantity...won't be an issue

It would be better to have the long tube between the hanging dirty water bag and the filter, then just push the drinking barb from the filter into the Smart water bottle cap. That extra few feet will create a lot more pressure on the filter and allow much faster flow.
