I have the 2.5" shank Weigh Safe hitch. Love it. The scale is great. I tow a variety of trailers. One 20' trailer that I use to tow a 40hp tractor that weights 8-10k depending on implements being used. The scale makes it nice to verify appropriate tongue load

Good video. One thing I’ve noticed over the years of trial and error (heavy on the error part sometimes) is the greater the distance from the truck receiver to the ball, the greater the mechanical advantage the trailer has on the truck. This mechanical advantage is even more noticeable with a short wheelbase truck using a “long profile” hitch. Of course the weight of the trailer, truck, etc. can make all that irrelevant, but just something I’ve noticed under specific conditions over the years.

I’ve noticed that too. If it’s more than like two inches I push it in until it stops then drill a new hole through the shank

Should have put a scale on the table, to get a better comparison. I love my weigh safe aluminum hitch. Keep it in a bag and store under back seat of my truck. I have 2 ball sizes.

I love my Curt Rebellion XD with the 2 1/2 inch shank. It has the 2 5/16 and 2 inch ball. It is heavy, but it I love the 20k tow rate and tge 2k tongue weight. etrailer had the best price when I purchased it.

On the next to last hitch, what is the rating on the 3 ball swivel pin and can any of these hitches be used with weight distribution set ups?

1) Looks like this will be an interesting series. 2) Do they make a 4-way hitch like the one with the recovery hook; but instead of a recovery hook, have a flat bar with the hole in it so that you can haul ag wagons that requires a pin to latch? 3) With all the content that you have planned to produce, are you going to quit your job and go full time KZbin?

yes they do make them 2.5 inch shank they might be over 300 though so , the one i recomend is gen y mega duty 21k max weight 2.5 shank
