I don’t think he gave enough to help those people that he inspired as he said , to show he appreciated to their wonderful working!!! He’s so cheap the most cheapest under cover boss I ever came across ,gave so little to compare with theirs works so wonderful! He is so lucky to have as many right hands , they are present & making money for the company,they are making a lot of money for the company! However, in the end it better than nothing !!!

This Undercover Boss Canada CEO was DEF the most giving of all the ones I have seen from the Canada episodes. The US ones give so much more, so it was nice to see someone actually giving to these people more of what they deserve.

I thought the same thing. I also felt him to be so much more sincere and actually appreciative.
@OGimouse1

The US ones give more because they get more on taxes to offset them--because they're now a business expense--and what isn't is offset by the Undercover Boss franchise. You see less in other countries because their tax schemes are less lucrative for evading taxes.

WOW! I think that his company & himself are blessed to have such great ,dedicated and treated the business as their own. It shows that they love their jobs, they love what they do. To me, associates like these are so hard to find. They are full of wisdom of sell techniques. They should be highly respected, promoted and increased pay raising to be evenmore bussiness successful . Awesome boss indeed. Truly inspiring people.

Too bad they don't have this system implemented in the U. S. A. All they have is a "Secret Shopper" system which isn't worth a hill of beans. I was with Perkins Restaurant for over 31 years & was treated the worse, days taken away because managers was dating the servers, & if the server in question didn't like u, ur days were cut, & Heaven forbid, if u should be Black, u can toss ur career out the door. I have endured so many prejudiced managers, I have lost count, but I've had my share of really nice human beings, I could have gone far in the company, given the training, but I guess they didn't like the way I looked. Such a sad scenerio, but true. And it still goes on today, 02/15/2022!

This CEO I fell in love with. Granted he couldn't do menial jobs, but that's besides the point. This man has been the CEO for less than a year, and he cares enough to go undercover to understand the company he has taken possession of, and find out what he can fix. And his compassion for his employees was outstanding!

I worked retail for two convenience stores over 30 years, long hours, on my days off I filled in working holidays , work 11-7 am then go to another store 9a.m. to 2 pm, raising two kids alone and cleaning ect all my life up till about 6 years ago an an accident put me on SSI n DI, my kids got a little out of control , I had to work to pay the rent bills ect, (tragedies along the way losing our home do to neglectful landlords and weather) daycare, unreliable baby sitters...I was never appreciated! I watch Undercover Boss and it makes me cry, how wonderful their CEOs are to their employees, !🌹

I've worked in stores from every position to managing. I liked tearing down & building back up. I had a really bad dungeon down stairs. So scary. There's too much product on the racks & tables which are the reason product is always falling on the floor. I do not like being pushed by people as soon as I walk in the door. I hate going into stores today. There is NO room between isles. Just 2 people in an isle is too much. Then the stores go into smaller stores. Even worse! Be kind to one another. Stay safe. Love to all

@@queendeedee2813 I know! I only lasted 1 day at a truck stop motel because I was expected to clean 12 double queen motel rooms in an eight hour shift ~ that's cleaning 1 entire full bathroom, hang fresh linens especially folded to resemble flowers, make up 2 queen beds, dust, clean mirrors, clean windows inside & outside, and vacuum the carpets in 40 minutes per room. I was exhausted, and was not hired because I was too slow as the manager insisted she could thoroughly clean 16 double queen bed motel rooms in 8 hours, which is 1 room in 30 minutes, I would be expected to work up to that, but it took me about 10 hours to thoroughly clean 12 rooms. I was totally bummed out about it, because at 26 years of age I know with time I most likely could have cleaned one of those rooms in 20 minutes ~ their loss because all of my employers rave about my cleaning skills because I am very thorough, and everything is spotless. Happy Thanksgiving Queen DeeDee!

He stood with his hands in his pockets too much. The associates all complain about him being slow. It is his first day for cripes!!

If he can't turn the company around, no one can. He really had empathy for the employees and they what needed. Unlike the sodexo boss, however, who didn't have a clue (giving an employee an $8000 camera when she only made $16K year? Give her a $300 camera and the rest in cash, stupid. Or the poor cleaning guy he "gave" a floor waxer...) .I think this man grew up without many things, and understands people.

I sure wish home health agencies or assisted living / nursing home 'CEO'S would do this! Because there are exceptional employees that truly care and have empathy..

So far, I find this Boss unaware of how he comes across, and somewhat creepy with customers.
