Bearded opening up is so bitter sweet. His limited delving into his past was more heart wrenching than a lot of movies today, but the turnabout on his life is genuinely inspiring. Even if Beard is 18, seeing him refuse to let his past get him down is role model stuff. Here's to a long, happy, healthy career for Beard.

The talk about funny TF2 people got me thinking about someone who used to be one of my favorites. They don't post anymore and haven't for a few years, but in their prime their TF2 stuff were among my favorite vids ever. This Russian, middle aged, chain smoker, ex prostitute woman who had a genuine heart of gold and some of the best dry humor I have ever seen. Their life experience brought some of the funniest stories and some heart felt moments. Think they are at only at 400 during TF2 era and climbed to 800 when they found a recording group of people. Just kind of mad me think about them. Kind of want to go back and binge watch her older shit once I am done binge watching you~

25:54 I nearly hacked up a lung from that moment. On the notion of Medic friends, my best friend and I are really good at coordinating attacks without voicechat. I'm a Medic main that has skill with Pyro, Engineer, and Demo and he likes to go Pyro, Soldier, Demo, or Sniper. However, I know NOT to heal him with my Medigun because our friendship is built around the notion of "You're a total dick, bro. Let's be besties!" towards one another and he like to specifically troll me when I'm Medic, especially if I'm on the Quick-Fix. He has, on multiple occasions, sent me hurdling to my death from blast-jumping and watched me get pancaked by a Trolldier while healing him before following up with the Schadenfreude. Literally. He watched as the Soldier jumped from across the map to kill me - while I was distracted by so many patients in need of healing - and instead of sniping the guy out of the air, just lets the dude go for (and I quote from the post-session chat) "the MLG pro montage footage." I watched him get backstabbed in my deathcam. Immediately, we both typed into chat: "Worth it!"

After listening to Beards story I can say that I relate to him alot. I have a shitty past, and ive used videogames as a escape since I was a kid, and I got into creating a completely different persona compared to how I am IRL. I seek to entertain my friends online by being "the funny meme guy" and I know thats what my online buddies see me as. I enjoy making them laugh and just end up having a good time when I play with actual people and not by myself. I need to be around people or I just lose it and start having really bad anxiety and paranoia. I just wanna keep making friends, trying out new games, and try to live in the moment, and just try to enjoy everything. I hope that I can someday get into playing tf2 even if the game dies out.

Man this hits close to home, so when I was young, my grandfather introduced me to this WW1 dog fighting game. I sucked at it but I loved it. And it really helped me at the time because I lacked friends and my grandmother was dying from cancer (I didn't know at the time she had it but but I knew she was very sick). So after she died, I really had trouble in school and trying to fit in, and I became extremely depressed. But funny enough, the only thing that kept me going was a game that I was introduced to via youtube called Garrys Mod. So after playing that for a month or so, I saw some a addons in it with the Team Fortress 2 on it. I got really confused so I searched up TF2 and after playing it I fell in love with it. So after all these years, I can thank these games for giving me hope in this life.

Damn, that late-video rant about medics too afraid to pop ubers got to me. I tend to have a similar problem with power classes when I'm playing medic, ironically. I think there's one time I was soldier and had a medic following me and healing me, with full uber ready, I knew he had stock, we both knew there was a massive sentry nest around a corner, everything is fine...As soon as we get to it, he uses uber for only a split second and then, I see the uber disappear from me and I get mowed down by sentries, only him to be running away with his uber in the opposite direction for no reason, as he was not being attacked or threatened, he just broke the link to syringe gun then ran off after I died. My favorite though (Sarcasm here) is when I'm a medic, that before a rough choke points, I pop my uber on a power class, who still has high ammo, but because they're a tiny bit hurt, they are running away all the way back to spawn WHILE I'M KEEPING THEM INVINCIBLE WITH MY UBER INSTEAD OF MAKING USE OF IT. COME ON! That or people trying to take out big sentry nests as nothing but scouts and snipers while I have an uber ready but nobody's willing to be the power class to help, that also can be very frustrating.
