Joey: touches upon lazy's mental health for a second Lazy: " nah nah nah. Let's put that back in the box." Seriously though if lazy needs to take a break or if he wants to make other stuff that he might enjoy more at the time, id be down to see what it is
@aganaom17124 жыл бұрын
sidenote in post: i'll bring this up again in another of joey's videos but there's a neat little tech i guess you could call it that enables the heavy to get more than 200 health from eating the banana and you can do it by using the GRU to reduce your health beforehand (something a heavy might be likely to do anyway when he's backing off). it's not game breaking to my knowledge and allows the heavy to squeeze a bit more value out of the banana while also being able to turn the GRU's health drain into an upside of sorts. you can technically do it with the sandvich too it's just that the sandvich brings you back to full in either cases anyway. with the banana you can better take advantage of it and also do so more often
@FirstNameLastName-wg8ld3 жыл бұрын
@@aganaom1712 Same thing with the chocolate bar (forgot the name), which sometimes makes it better than the sandvich, since you get 350 health after eating it. An easy way of doing this is to quickly turn your scroll wheel up and down, and if you can get your max health below 100 then you might get a full heal out of it. It takes a bit of practice to get used to and to know when to use it, but it really helps in the long run.

I was one of those “gifted” kids. Everyone always told me I was so smart, and that I was lucky to have what I did. What they didn’t tell me was that I had severe clinical depression and as a result of that and my moderate intelligence I wasn’t able to develop a good work ethic, and now I give up if it gets too hard. I’m trying to get back out there now, but I can definitely say I feel considerably less smart than everyone led me to believe. I think the truly “gifted” people are the ones who can motivate themselves to get shit done, even if they don’t want to. I think you, LazyPurple, are truly gifted.

Lazy is a huge role model to me. I can relate to him in a lot of ways; I don’t want to go over everything, but basically I also went through several years of extreme depression and anxiety. Life was not going well for me. It ended up having a huge impact on my grades; I had no motivation to do work even on classes I liked. I did manage to get through by some miracle. I had no idea anyone else went through what I did, or worse, and that one of my favorite content creators was going through the exact same thing. It’s good to know you’re not alone. And what Lazy discussed in this gave me a whole new perspective on this. Thank you so much LazyPurple!

Hey joey, remember that heavy weapon concepts series you did? I have an idea for one of them. Heavy lunchbox idea: The Family’s Feast Big turkey Heals 150 health for the eater When thrown to teammates it functions as a full health pack When thrown to other heavies it heals 200 hp Can only be recharged from resupply, waiting 1 full minute, or FULL health packs when at full hp. Animations include holding the turkey with 2 hands from either end, and when eating brings the whole thing to his mouth and takes a bite out of the side Eating takes twice as long as eating sandvich Would encourage helping others, as that is where it truly shines.

For the part about prodigy vs hard worker, I was considered a young prodigy in school for science and math. The problem is sometimes people expect TOO much out of you ALL the time. By the time I reached the end of high school I was tired of everyone coming to me for answers and being expected to be the top of the class, all that pressure caused me to just give up trying to keep my grades up to the normal A+, top student, score. I would rather just have good enough grades and not have all the attention. I just don't feel like I deserve it. The only reason I was so good at science and math is that I just naturally love those subjects and search random stuff about it in my own time. I feel that the hard workers need the attention because they both deserve it and they would most likely want to see their efforts acknowledged.

After 5 year without playing TF2 I came back cuz Lazy uploaded How it feels like to play Demoman and youtube recomended it to me. His videos are insane good, and they actually make playing TF2 sounds cool and exciting! It feels great to be back in the community and its all thanks to him. Even though Lazy doesn't want do admit it, his work actually has a big impact in the game.

I've really enjoyed watching this whole series, and clicked on this video the instant I saw it. I wound up gripping my phone and staring intensely and the screen for practically the whole time! I recently got into tf2 (technically back into it, but this year's my first time actually getting into pubs and working my hardest to play well). I really enjoy your channel, and throughout the video I was trying to analyze the stuff you did so I could be a better Heavy! And listening to Lazy talk about the pressures he faced as a creator and how he overcame them is really inspirational. My girlfriend picked up SFM because of him! I think out of all the tf2bers out there, the both of you are what really made me play tf2 again and recognize how it FEELS to be a merc. This is a very cool series and the two of you are very rad people! Thank you for creating content for tf2 :) !

I had played tf2 for a while, but I quit around 1-2 years ago. Every time lazy uploads a “How it FEELS” video, I play for about 3-4 days straight. With his latest video about the demo man, and with scream fortress, it got me playing again. And I haven’t had this much fun playing a game in so long. And his demo vid made me finally commit to a class. And because of you Joey, I’ve taken to using the GRU, and have made me a much better heavy. So thank you!
