@Hinterfrage! Causing suffering and pain intentionally is something anyone with morals should avoid . There is no such thing as a vegan diet. Veganism is only about animal cruelty and exploitation. Vegans eat a plant based diet but you can eat plant based and not be vegan. You obviously haven't looked into the science of the health aspects of a plant based diet. You don't need to supplement. In the beginning 34 years ago i did take B 12 but now it is found in water lentils. It is also added to nutritional yeast, plant milks and cereals too. Most of the worlds B12 supplements are fed to animals. You can find the B12 info on Mic the vegans YT channel and watching The Game changers has all the info and science one needs for a plant based lifestyle.

Dogs aren’t meant to be eat because they’re 95% carnivore, with the occasional bit of vegetable, so their meat is more bitter and not as nutritious, plus is more full of disease, viruses and is less safe to consume.

Which is completely fine. But what cant be argued is meat is bad for your health and isnt a necessity in our diets. The money gone into subsidising the dairy and meat industry could be better spent else where. Animal agriculture is literally killing our planet. Independently those are three great reasons for veganism. That dont warrant any moral application. You might say people simply dont care but they'd be in the minority, most people do care but societal norms are holding people back from making an effort to align their actions with their morals. That body is thus considered yours, the only thing that you actually own. That is the fact. Someone else trying to own your body is in complete contradiction of you owning your body. That's when it becomes logical inconsistency based on a fact. This spreads to any animal that is sentient, for they own their body just as you and I. We can then make morals from there. I see nothing wrong with involving feelings until they cause contradictions and physical, unjustifiable harm.

Oliver Atkinson eating dogs is statistically a terrible idea unless it's a rare delicacy as dogs would require meat rather then grass and they wouldn't produce nearly enough milk to be viable for dairy unless dog milk too is a delicacy.

Oliver Atkinson well cows and pigs haven't really been tamed to the same levels as dogs, of course I find the treatment of some of these animals inhumane however dogs are simply incredible animals which make up for many of our shortcoming as well as being eternally loyal to their masters. Of course you can befriend any animal once you get to know them however functionally dogs make up for human shortcomings better then other animals as well as being easily controlled which is quite ideal for humans.

@@bvegannow1936 Yeah. It's weird. Sheep flesh is called mutton. But if a human take a baby sheep and cages it to keep it tender, they call it by the same name it would have as a living animal. Maybe it relates in a twisted way to religion?? the lamb of god thing. Who knows? Cow = beef or steak. Calf = veal. Deer = venison. Sheep = mutton, Lamb = lamb.

People need to realize that dogs aren't the only animals capable of giving companionship and emotional support to humans. Rams are generally thought of as aggressive but if I'm upset my pet ram offers comfort by staying beside me and gently rubbing his head on me when usually he would walk away and eat grass. The animals we eat are no different to the ones we see as pets.

@@zakrowe1301 he was bought as a breeding ram but I turned him into a pet 2 weeks after buying him. He is also very playful sort of like a dog but a big woolly sheep that will charge a cross the paddock at me and stop just before ramming into me before bouncing off again.

I dont know if this is gonna sound bad, but it kind of frustrates me to see people of ethnic minorities turn their noses up at veganism when it's a similar discrimination and exploitation that held them back for centuries. All people no matter where you're from.should be able to understand the evil that hides into having a piece of bacon on the morning or chicken for dinner and how unreasonable it is to value one species more than the other. But youd think it would hit closer to home for them. It's what helped motivate me to make the changes I needed to.
