Underground Movement: Cave Diving in Jämtland

The Dolinsjö Cave in the North West of Sweden is a an underwater cave system that was discovered in 1979. Expedition Bjurälven is an annual expedition, exploring the depths of the cave.
So far, the expedition has reached 1.7 kilometres into the cave, but no one knows how far it stretches.

This is very similar to the "wet dream" dive on Nomash river.

There are some similarities ;) We have been visiting the Wet Dream cave on Vancouver Island as guests of the explorers there. The Wet Dream is a cave where sidemount is preffered, but it is possible to dive it on back mount. It is much more spacious, much deeper and also much more accessible, there is a road next to it. The entrance never freezes over since it is in the middle of a river. Temperatures are normally quite a bit higher than in Bjurälven. A beautiful cave, for sure!
