“Underneath Your Wings” was filmed during the 2024 Dor Haba Kids’ Camp in Jerusalem, with both Jewish and Arab kids from Messianic, believing families.
The song was recorded at the Dor Haba studio in Jerusalem, Israel, and was filmed in the Ben Hinnom Valley. Most of the kids in the video lead worship and prayer times at the Succat Hallel 24/7 House of Prayer.

In the scriptures, the Ben Hinnom Valley, or “The Valley of Slaughter,” was where the people of Judah sacrificed their sons and daughters to idols (Jeremiah 7:30) Up until about twenty years ago the valley was full of trash and there was nothing green growing there. Today, the Valley is full of life. We are seeing The Lord fulfill His promise to turn this most vile place into a place of “Eternal Blessings” (Jeremiah 31:40). By bringing the kids to dance and sing to the Lord in the very place where the Israelites once burned their children, we are siding with God and his faithfulness. While the kids were dancing and being filmed for the music video, seven white doves began circling over them over and over. It was a little glimpse of God’s heart for the kids, and it showed us His covering and hand over the camp.
This song was written by Dana Sparendeo and Shelly Zeiger about 24 years ago. It is part of a larger project called Wells of Faith and Revival. We are remixing and recording songs that were written by local teenagers in Hebrew 10-20 years ago during a time when many young people experienced a real awakening in their faith (1999-2003). Some songs are from a later time when local teenagers began leading worship shifts in local Houses of Prayer (2014-2017). These songs, written years ago by 15 and 16-year-olds, have been a big blessing to the body of Messiah in Israel over the years.
Just as God poured out His Spirit and anointed teenagers to write these songs years ago, we are praying that God would give new songs to kids and teenagers at THIS time, and in this challenging season; fresh songs in Hebrew and Arabic that would bring life and awakening in their hearts and in the culture around them.
