One's ATK and DEF depends on their will and desire to fight, meaning if someone wants their opponent dead for whatever reason, their ATK will be higher, but DEF lower, same goes the other way if they do not want to fight I think

Ngl love the game, perfect in many ways, buts its kinda easy, just played through and the 1st phase was hardest atleast for me, all the other phases took my about 3-6 try’s, still very fun but I’ll say my opinion on it Edit: I’m not sure what happened but I decided to play again since it’s a fun fan game and phases 3-5 didn’t save, it’s not a huge deal because the phases aren’t too hard as I previously stated but just to say

Also, dang, could've at least made Papyrus' bullets not give you KR and not make 'em ignore your invincibility frames, I mean, he's not the judge, and that'd be MUCH more forgiving. Edit: Ok. Know that in the final phase, that applies, but ya guys know I'm talkin' bout the earlier phases, just to specify.

yeah but in phase 1 he doesn't deal KR damage, he only deals KR damage in phases 2-3 because in the original disbelief he did so!!1 also I think it was confirmed that the KR effect was confirmed not to be lore relevant, it's only for difficulty

This games pacing is honestly pretty rough A lot of interesting concepts and subtleties are lost with how much it plasters Gaster and Chara all over it, and it lacks a lot of the narrative moments that it's original parts had, not so much the things that happen, but why and when they happen, it's more like they exist here to check off a list Like, the phase 3 of disbelief happens because Papyrus felt he had to embody both Sans and Undyne's willingness to kill you for the greater good, and how in the struggle against the players determination, he awakened something in himself That whole thing can't exist for that reason in this, because not only is Papyrus not alone, he's *with Sans* You can't just play both stories at the same time and expect it to work, they're almost diametrically opposed There's almost nothing in regards to how the two of them would react to their actions and thoughts A key thing about Papyrus in Disbelief is how he doesn’t understand the killing, and a key thing about Sans in Last Breath is that he more understands *everything*, but nothing is done with that Though at the end of the day, it's still impressive that they completed such a project, a lot of good ideas, but an ultimately rough execution

they never get the story right though, that is disbelief papyrus, his sans already died, he was brought into the timeline by gaster for assistance, but nah instead they say "papyrus? i thought i told you to stay at home" as if papyrus wearing sans's jacket was a normal thing, they gotta fix it man, especially considering the fact that it says chara's level is 18 meaning that papyrus already died in this timeline, man they need to fix it they got it all wrong, the battle is good, the songs are great, but the story line?, they screwed it up
