I've loved your explanation! I kind of have a fluency to understand rhe that Michael wanted to " toast" Toby but some of the people's comments were more clearly understandable with the cultural references that I was not acquainted with.Great class!

Hey, Evelyn, very good lesson on not only understanding English but also understanding the American humour. "The Office" is one of my favourite shows, next to Dr House and old but gold Seinfeld. I find it fascinating how the sense of humour differs between countries. Take for example the British humour where I feel like asking "tell me where I'm supposed to laugh", it seems weird to me. But to the British our Polish humour seems weird. Luckily, the American humour seems to be easily understood by everyone, once we know the meanings of the words and expressions. Thank you, that was fun!

Hello teacher! I love your videos, they are very clear and educational, thank you!!! Hey! Would it be too much to ask that of the TV series or sitcoms that you really take the time to watch in your spare time, that you analyze a video for each episode of a particular season that you have watched completely from beginning to end... could you? Thank you very much! ☺

Thank you dear I would be delighted if you create a video about learning English through serials and movies. How can we learn effectively with them?

Hi, Evelyn. Thank you for this video. I have a question about the idiom "out to lunch" that you used in your video. "He thinks everyone is out to lunch." Is it commonly used in the region you live? Can you please write 2 more examples with this idiom (how people use it naturally), and please provide another way to say the same thing using different words. It would help me a lot to feel how to use this idiom correctly. I don't want to use it in a wrong context. Thank you so much in advance.

Hey Evelyn Maybe it would be helpful to replay the entire clip after the final explanation. Generally, students want to compare their comprehension before and after the explanation, and they feel enthusiastic if there's a positive difference.

Hi beautiful mind ! Any learner, whatever is his nationaly, if he carry on your videos, he won't waste his time , on the contrary, it's an investment for his future. As it is said by an American philosopher: Do the most productive thing at any given moment. The sky is the limit, so there's no limit.
