Hello! The prognosis depends on the size of the Pineal gland cyst as well as the clinical presentation; so it is difficult to quote a statistic. Hello maam my child is 2.5 years old he didn't speaks but try to express his needs say he gives me s glass when he needs water. He take me near to the item he wants and look towards that item and hold my hands and push me toward that direction. He only says mama papa and kela for banana and does not sits at one position .he has been given mobile very early for a long period of time. Iam very worried what can I do to let him speak.

Loveleen Sethi Hi! A child may start holding a pencil/ a crayon and start scribbling by 2-3 years of age but studies show that a child begins to write his or her name by 5-6 years. Even this is not an absolute as the readiness of each child varies.

@@DrShashiRawat My son is diagnosed with Global Development Delay. He can hold the croyon/ pencil (not properly) but not taking interest in scribbling. Sometime he use his left hand and sometimes he scribble from right.
