In India there are existence of many castes, religion, traditions , languages etc. Unity in diversity: The phrase " unity in diversity" is taken from the book The discovery of India written by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru . In India, there is not only diversification into social classes but also their is diversity in geographical locations . We find every variety of locations in our country. This leads to the diversity in cultures of every region . But due to all these diversity, our unity is never disrupted or disturbed . Britishers thought due to the diversification in India , it would be easy to divide them and rule them . However, every indian citizen irrespective of any caste participated in Indian struggle for independence. For eg . Yes it is absolutely appropriate to use the term unity in diversity for India as here people belongs to difference caste food habits clothes they wear and other things . instead of this people are living in a coordinated way with one another . the proof of it is the doctors the Indian army etc are never focus on the religion from which belong and giving their services efficiently in the book the discovery of India Nehru said about the India's unity in diversity I think it is absolutely right as their examples are the written above

It is a concept of “unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation” that shifts focus from unity based on a mere tolerance of physical, cultural, linguistic, social, religious, political, ideological and/or psychological differences towards a more complex unity based on an understanding that difference enriches human interactions. I think the term “unity in diversity” is an appropriate term to describe India because India is a country that displays a remarkable diversity in terms of its geography, climate, culture, religion, language, ethnicity, etc. Despite these differences, India has maintained a strong sense of national identity and unity among its people. India has also shown tolerance and respect for different faiths and beliefs, as exemplified by the poem Kakawin Sutasoma that promotes harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism. Nehru’s quote from his book The Discovery of India is: “The diversity of India is tremendous; it is obvious; it lies on the surface, and anybody can see it. It concerns itself with physical appearances as well as with certain mental habits and traits.” I think Nehru is trying to say that Indian unity is not based on superficial or external factors, but on a deeper and more profound level of understanding and appreciation of the diversity that exists within India. He is also implying that Indian unity is not imposed or enforced by any authority but emerges naturally and organically from the people themselves. He is celebrating the richness and variety of Indian culture and civilization, while also acknowledging the challenges and difficulties that come with it.

Yes ,I think unity in diversity describes the India because India is a secularism country Here people belongs to different castes,religion,ethics,ideology,culture,etc.when we move from one place to another their food,clothes and many things also differ just like in Laddakh winter monsoon so they need to wear long woolean coat for protect from cold but in Rajasthan very dry and hot climate so ,they wear light cotton clothes for feel comfortable ....I mean they differ from many ways but their unity and humanity shows towards our country "India".

Yes Mam , Unity is diversity is an appropriate term to describe India because in India , every person or communities have their own culture tradition nd language. Despite of having different cultures nd languages, they still show unity with each other. JL Nehru wrote the book *discovery of India* to show the India's diversity.. He saw the different people from different cultures share emotions , sympathy what we called bhaichaara , and Support each other in very difficult situation. India is building strong day by day leading all over the world just because of the unity of people together. India is a leading progressive nation all because of Unity. India is now a leading nation in aspect of religions, and caste. The term " Unity In Diversity" perfectly describe India. It is because in India, many people live of different religion, speak different languages, eat different varieties of food, different accent of clothes they wear and thay have also different ways to spend their life according to their culture and geographical location. After this much difference they live happily together with unity. It shows the unity in diversity across the citizen of India. Not this much only, in our biggest written constitution specially 6 fundamental rights are mentioned for the citizen of India to live their life according to their culture and tradition, under the rules and regulations. It is clearly seen in India that everyone respect the religion, the culture and tradition of others, which makes India more beautiful and glorious. Through the book " The Discovery of India" Nehruji is trying to say about the Indian Unity that " Unity in Diversity" is not forcefully imposed from the outside but rather It was something deeper and within its fold. In India it is happily accepted across the citizen and even they encourage the " Unity In Diversity ". It was Nehruji , who coined the phrase, " Unity In Diversity" to describe the country.

Yes, according to my perspective the term "unity in diversity" is perfectly coined. India is a diverse country in lots of sphere, whether it is language, religion, tradition,culture,food habits,etc. A variety of people with variety of aspects live in this country. Even though in such diversity there is still unity among the people. People are working unitely together in development of the country or serving the country irrespective of the differences among them. Nehru in his book "Discovery in India" said that the unity in India is something deeper,the differences among people in their culture, traditions, religion make them so diverse but still there is unity among people, such huge range of diversity didn't hinder the unity of people.

(प्रश्न_१) आपके अनुसार अनेकता में एकता का विचार भारत के लिए कैसे उपयुक्त है ? भारत की खोज पुस्तक से किए गए इस वाक्यांश में नेहरू भारत की एकता के बारे में क्या कहना चाह रहे हैं? उत्तर_१ भारत जहां विविध विविधताओं वाला देश है, जिसमें अनेक धर्मों के मानने वाले लोग हैं| वहां यह विविधता भारत के लिए अनेकता में एकता के विचार को भी प्रतिपादन करती है| जवाहरलाल नेहरू द्वारा अपनी पुस्तक भारत की खोज में इस वाक्यांश का अभिप्राय भारतीय विविधता में लोगों के मध्य आपसी एकता से है| भारतीय विविधता में एकता का यह परिचय समय-समय पर देखने को मिलता है, जिस प्रकार ब्रिटिश हुकूमत द्वारा भारत को गुलामी की जंजीरों में जकड़ा हुआ था| उस समय यह विविधता ही एकता के रूप में सामने आई जिसमें भिन्न भिन्न वर्गो,जातियों, समुदायों और धर्मों के लोगों ने अपना योगदान दिया भारत को स्वतंत्र करने में विशेष योग्यता निभाई| जवाहरलाल नेहरू द्वारा अपनी पुस्तक में इस प्रकार भारतीय विविधता को एकता के रूप में वर्णित किया गया है| "भारतीय विविधता कोई बाहर से थोपी हुई चीज नहीं बल्कि इसमें हमारा गहरा विश्वास है|"

Yes unity in diversity is an appropriate term to describe the country because not every individual is same every individual is unique. Understanding diversity is all about to recognising these individual differences along with the dimension of cultural, tradition, food, festivals, sexual orientation and caste etc. On the other side if we describe the country of india undoubtedly is a diverse country where the different kind of people live together and celebrate their festivals and also practice their culture with respect.. For example - kerala and ladkh Kerala is situated in South West corner famous for the spices on the other hand ladakh is famous for pashmina wools so every part of the country has a valuable in their parts so this is the beauty of the india there is a Different kind of people live with their diversities We do many things that are similar except we do them in different different ways... If we quote of jawahar lal Nehru " Discovery of india ' India's unity is not something imposed from the outsider but rather it's something deeper within its folds the widest tolerance of belief and i custom was practised and every variety of acknowledged and even encouraged. It was Nehru was coined the phrase unity is strength to describe the country..

Yes , it is appropriate terms to describe the term unity in diversity because our country is not described in words and sentence it is describe many types of people's their culture , language, tradition, festival etc. And we respect everyone for their culture,caste , religion, background, and traditions. our first prime minister pt. Jl Nehru also described and trying to say that in his book discovery of India our country is dervsify but we are not imposed that unity and dervsity , even it is our deep of belief for our country ....... Answer - kosh kosh pe badle Pani char kosh pe Vani This quote describe the diversity of India which give special place in the world. India which is full of diversity based on region , religion, culture, language etc , every citizen is different from each other but all are unite not only on present or after independence, Al are unite from ancient time also. Diversity of India makes India different from rest of the world . India is the origin of major religions which are practiced in the world like Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism etc . India is heterogeneous society . India is a home of more than 1600 languages, 705 tribal groups , 3500 castes , food , cloths , 100 dance forms and many more cultural practices. One factor is geographical area that we adopt makes different from others like Ladakh region, Kerala, one have moderate temperature,not feels harsh weather conditions and one have snow fall ,almost all the time feels harsh weather conditions,like extreme cold and extreme hot ,both are totally different from each other . Instead of huge diversity India is united after 75 years of independence. It is mentioned in constitution in article 1 that - India that is Bharat ,shall be a union of states . Union government also take initiative towards this unity are Kashi sangamam and saurashtra sangamam to improve the cultural and heritage link with North India and South India. The quote of JL Nehru that unity in diversity is an appropriate term to describe India and Nehru is trying to say that India is full of diversity but India is unite as an Indian .

Yes, i think that the term "unity is diversity" is an appropriate term to describe India. In India people of different caste, creed, religions etc live together. Despite having geographical differences people from different communities had migrated and adapted themselves very well since older times. They have respected the culture and traditions of every community. These aspects lay a strong foundation for country to be recognised as "Diverse". Jawahar Lal Nehru said in his book "The discovery of India", unity is something that can't be imposed on someone rather it has deeper roots and within its limit , the widest tolerance of belief and custom was practised and every variety is acknowledged and encouraged.

Yes, I think unity in diversity is an appropriate term to describe India because India is a diverse country where different cultures and traditions are followed in different regions. People of various states speak different languages, etc. But when Britishers ruled India then people of different cultures and religions come together and opposed them. Jawaharlal Nehru in his book "discovery of india" is trying to convey that 'unity in diversity ' is an appropriate term to describe India . In India people of different regions is trying to adapt the culture, tradition, food, languages of different regions' people except to oppose them.
