Understanding Familiars

Ty for this guide to familiars, i have only ever used the old big spider for drop and didnt realize you could even get IED or boss damage. as a f2p in scania its rough trying to fund myself to get higher IED and such so this helps alot. A slow grind but more info to help me out, thanks a lot! :D

does it matter what level you get? i want to grind some familiars that are my favorites that are like in the 160 range but will that hinder the potential by a lot?

If I’m trying to get item drop by large amount, should I just focus on making epic familiars instead of unique?

yes but you might as well make them unique if the epic is a bad roll

That was very helpful, thank you!! But you did not say if the type and level of the monster matters, or only the rarity? Does the type and level affect the roll and bonus stats?

will you lose the stats you like everytime you rank up a familiar? Is there a way to keep a stat you like such as a rare "Attack ignores 15% monster defense" and keep ranking that up?

nope, itll reroll no matter what if the rank is increased

Sorry for late response. Train in any location where familiars drop in the Arcane River - 230+ areas.

Its really hard to lvling with class have low hp n no heal/spellvamp. Always end up dead fighting high lvl monsters since all familiar are RNG now ;-;
