Hi Jimmy, first of all you are greater than the textbook being deeply honest. Second, during the video you told about the lakes which store the water in the late summer to radiate it off in the autumn elongating the autumn etc etc. However in the short sample written question in the last question you answered saying that the lakes store the heat on November to elongate the growing season allowing ripening the grapes. I don't want be fussy and sorry for my bad english, but I would just clarify this point to have a better idea about that situation. Thank you so much for all.

Great explanation of the Finger Lakes. Did not realize how deep they actually are. Also a great into into non-California American wines (yes there are some) 👍

Thanks Bill. These glacial lakes are impressively deep - the same with the Okanagan Lake and associated lakes in BC.

There are more an more hybrids that are excellent for wine making. Traminette, Chambourcin, and, of course, Vidal Blanc are just a few. I have had good success with Marechal Foch and Vincent as well.

For sure - I was just in the Finger Lakes and the Traminette I tasted at Fox Run was really decent

Dr. Konstantin Frank actually emigrated from Odessa (Russian Empire, now part of Ukraine), so he hed nothing to do with Germany :)

He travelled from Germany, his last post in Europe where he was tasked with the help of rebuilding the nation post-war - but yes he was from Odessa initially - I was fortunate to be a part of the Frank fundraising drive from Ukraine last year (I also took in a refugee family from Ukraine too)
