Had this condition which lasted over 3 months the right leg upper thigh numbness no pain and some tingling, started taking fruits that have vasodilator effects,. Pomegranate diet with light paraesthetica exercise, you have to raise your each leg up 20 to 30 times while laying down on your side everyday for 2 to 4 weeks, the problem went away on 3rd week.

Hello my friend 🤟 I have the same problem that you have in the past and I really wanna get done ✅ with that 🙏🙏 Thank you for your advice 🙏🙏🙏I will follow but I don’t understand the simple exercises how must be made correctly… I understand that you must lay down on one side and move your leg up and down like e butterfly? I think I understand now but mabe you can send me a picture or link with this kind of exercices if you want 🙏🙏🙏Thank you and I’m glad you recover 👌👌

@@liviuhera9129 Yes move your leg up and down like a butterfly, make sure your Penis/Vagina is not pointing towards the ground, just in case of crash, the numbness might shift from your thigh area towards other parts of your body, you don't want numbness at the wrong places.

I have been suffering from the same one for 8 years. They couldn't diagnose for a long time until I got a nerve condition study and confirmed it. The symptoms are in front and in the inner thigh also. It was progressive with pain in the inner groin. I just had surgery two weeks ago. The nerve was compressed and became flat. Don't know how successful it is going to be. Good luck to everyone.

The outside of my left thigh went numb about 12 years ago, didn't think much of it, figured I had a pinched nerve...but the feeling never really came back. Last Monday I woke up, terrified, to INCREDIBLY INTENSE burning. I jumped out of bed to get away from the 5 lb hornet or spider that had dug their stingers in the center of my thigh. I went straight to the floor, couldn't walk...I was screaming the fire sensation was so intense. Of course there was nothing actually stinging me, but it was really intense for 3-4 minutes. Scared the sh*t outta me. Happened again last night. I'm uninsured & thought it might be a thrombosis, so thanks to this video, now I know it's not going to kill me or paralyze my left leg.

A very clear, well-organized presentation. The problem is actually on the front of my thigh, rather than the outside of the thigh, but the symptoms are exactly as described and there has been recent trauma to the inguinal area, due to surgery. Thanks for your help.

I am currently required to sleep on my back due to position restrictions after a total hip replacement. I am having symptoms of this condition on the non-operated side when I am lying down trying (unsuccessfully) to sleep. It can be quite painful but eases once I get up. This is the first video I've watched and I appreciate the information. I will be doing more research to see if there's something I can do within the limitations of my "hip precautions" to ease the symptoms.

Hi. Been watching your channel My doctor believes I have meralgia paresthetica. A few years back I had numbness in my thigh, tingles and achy legs. Had nerve study and all ok. Now after a few years it's come back. Had more nerve tests and said meralgia paresthetica. But is it? I'm worried so much. My thigh still has the numbness, tingles but now it's starting in my other leg, also really aching, tired legs and a moreless invisible itch rash on lower leg. Tingles, burning , aches, pain to walk on foot by end of day. Are all these symptoms of meralgia paresthetica or is it something scary. I keep thinking its something really bad, like ms 🙁

I’ve seen a neurologist recently who is scheduling an EMG to diagnose for certain, but he’s sure that this is what has been going on. Hopefully surgery will help. i recently had this problem after sitting for 8 hours on a flight to Ireland. The next day after the flight, standing or walking for medium to longer periods of time would cause the burning. The problem was a burning sensation on the outside area of the quad muscles. I saw a chiropractor while in Ireland who diagnosed it as Meralgia Paraesthetica. He adjusted my spine and pelvis and recommended a follow up visit to my regular chiropractor. The systems were greatly reduced that same day and I have had no symptoms since my second adjustment at my regular chiropractor.

I am hit with this type of femoral nerve problem. No pain, but partial numbness. But at least it is not motor neuron symptoms, so hence, you can move your affected leg during meralgia paraesthetica without worrying that this MP could be the start of a worsening motor neuron disease, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which causes eventual permanent loss of all motor functions in the limb, arm, back, neck and even your oral muscles.

i am living in constant pain for years. completely destroyed my academic as well as my athletic career, i couldn't even sit anymore straight during my hardest periods. i was first diagnoes with morbus bechterew (which is completely absurde since there was never measured any inflammation in my body). a few years later after so many argues with my doctor they did a reassesment. the result was a disc prolapse, l3, which of course happened just recently and could impossible have been a reason which made me suffering already for years. my doctor still told me to take immunesystem supressive since i clearly had diagnozed bechterew (on what evidence?). There was never any kind of pain relief, but hey take your pills boy. here i am after 5 years later meanwhile afraid of turning insane one day due to this constant pain. Nobody ever took my situation serious. The incompetence and ignorance of my doctors destroyed my life, and I'm 28 yrs old already proud owner of grey hairs. i Now i see this explanation and it looks like god is sending me a message telling me that i wasn't wrong all these years. i thank you with everything i have to have produced this video. i almost gave up! unbelieveable at the same time that no doctor i ever went to came to even imagine that an issue like portrait in the video could be the cause of pain. but yeah, just went to university for close to 8 years, don't expect too much competence from some of these humans.

Hi, Thanks for the video this sounds very much like what i've been experiencing although i have it in both thighs. It only happens for example if i sit on the edge of a seat leaning back, or if i'm sitting up slightly in bed (a sort of 'butt scooted forward' sitting position). Up until today it has only caused complete numbness in my outer thighs and the hair is long gone in those areas, but this morning i woke up with this excruciating burning in one thigh that lasted about half a minute. I assumed that my thigh went numb while i was asleep and the pain might have been the sensation rushing back or some kind of nerve damage. Never had this sort of pain before and that thigh was weak and sore to the touch for several hours after, the best way i can describe it is if you touch a sunburn. I was wondering if this is consistent with meralgia paraesthetica?
