Focusing on individual moves is definitely good advice. I was too focused on the general rock paper scissors lf what to do when someone was being passive or aggressive. Taking your advice to focus on the specific to heart while playing Strive tonight, I forced myself to watched some replays against I Ky who destroyed me after reach the 8th floor of the tower for the first time, and I won the first swt against the next Ky I fought, and they were at least doing mostly the same stuff, so I was abito apply what I had learned.

4:29 and this is why Mena is one of, if not the GOAT. He is the best at high level unga and switches effortlessly between that and incredibly patient, neutral play.

Absolutely, positively, true. This has been going on since the closed betas for Street Fighter 6. Players don't give a damn about neutral. They drive rush, they dragon lash, they condor spire, they butt slam, whatever they need to do to get in your face and press buttons lol.

I go around 1700 mr and sometimes whenever i play around the classic way of neutral in this game i lose because people just dont care as you said, ive lost against unthinkable Drive impacts, lots of neutral skips, etc. Great video mura is a good reminder how this game is now and it is a big mix of things.

Fun intro.🙂Good point on AAs as something not even to think about. Crossups are a bit trickier; I can try parry. Getting into someone's space & seeing how they react is good. True on those neutral skip moves. There's a lot. Trying to remember solutions from matchup vids. 😌And not being too passive. Did casual/BH, & hope to finally do ranked. Thanks for the vid.

The anti-air topic is tricky imo. Especially with Chun-Li and character who does not have traditional DP or reliable quick anti-air. With Chun-Li the fact that you can't AA from a crouching position definitely add more mental stack to her AA game, and the fact that it is rather hard to "not think about AA at all".

@@MCMuraFGC yeah for sure, even the best players got jumped-in. But you're right, defending the air and being able to anti-air most of the time is a core skill to play this game at medium high level. I just wanted to complain about Chun-Li Anti-Air haha. She has the most anti-airs in the game but they are kind of specific/precise/situational and hard to use. I saw so many good Chun players lose for a mistimed st.MK or a bit too late Tensho Kicks.

Your videos are objectively the best Street Fighter content on KZbin as of now! I feel like if there is one thing holding them back from being widely enjoyed by everyone in the world it would be the heavily accented English pronunciation. i know it is hard to work pronunciation as i my self am a native Arabic speaker, but i feel like it is worth the effort to take some courses or do some training, from my experience, trying to mimic native speakers as you hear them has helped a lot, i record voice lines ( such as video game lines ) over and over and listen them until i match the original to a T. Thank you for your valuable and entertaining videos, i hope there are many more years for us to enjoy Street Fighter 6 and your videos!

I'm a native English speaker and I have no issue with Mura's speech. Of course, self-improvement is always good, so by all means if he wanted to work on that, it would be great-but I don't think it's necessary personally. His videos are already helpful, informative, entertaining and have his unique personality that keeps us coming back!

Maybe you and I are perfectly fine with listening and understanding what i like to call "flavoured English" but i know that many other people bounce off of a video just because of an accent unfamiliar to them, for example there is a Scottish Blender tutorial channel i watch often, with half of the comments telling the guy to speak English claiming that they don't understand jack shit

the one move that pisses me off is dragonlash there should absolutely no reason why dragonlash should also hit a neutral jumped opponents, ken overall just covers all angles yet supposedly hes the "weakest"shoto lol also the intro to this video was hilarious lol 🤣 great vid Mura!

Good players don't automatically appear; they spend hundreds and thousands of hours honing their skills, leveling up again and again and again Don't get discouraged, and take it one step at a time! That will take you further than you realize if you keep at it and try to make sure you're enjoying yourself along the way
