That’s an early number on day five typically Dogs or Randall one at that point, but either way at that number you are probably a couple ways from doing something I would test again in 2days

This is not progesterone related but I have read so many mixed reviews in deworming pregnant females 10-14 days prior to labor. What are your thoughts on deworming pregnant dogs? Thanks!

The finecare machine does NOT use the same scale as the idexx machine. The chart that comes with it says breed on results of 20 to 35! Thats way different than Idexx's 12 to 18. I'm confused if you sell that machine how you don't know that?

Hello sir, My breed rhodesaian ridgeback 18month old came as slient heat i taken progesterone test and the result before 2days (0.08 ng/ml) and again after the 2days i taken and test then the result is (0.79 ng/ml). It's possible is level as be increased or any problem on her heat cycle..

No they care independent genes and do not effect each other Never breed merles to merles Or extreme pied to another pied or Carrier

My breeder gave my dam a vitamin shot aka B-12 and it worked ! Quickly ! Hopefully the AI were successful! Semen was left in her for about 20-30 min but released a lot afterwards 😬 we will find out in about 33 days

Haven’t got many replies but hopefully you come across my comment🙏🏻 around 2pm I did the last AI on my dam, around 6pm I took her to get a progesterone test and she was a 22ng/ml , I did do an AI the night prior but a little concerned but the semen does stay in for about 20-30 min, she gets feathered as well to contract but as soon as she done, she leaks alot of it out(I’ve inserted about 7cc-20cc at each AI)☹️ I’ve spent 300$ on progesterone test… Praying for the best

Thank you so much for explaining how progesterone work. I've been trying to breed and failed twice. After watching your video I decided to take my dog in this morning. Her progesterone is at 4.4 at day 7. Unfortunately my vet will be close until next Monday which is 7 days out. The doc said 1st breeding should be good to go starting Friday which is three days from now. What do you think? My dog is flagging. Discharge is some what pink. Btw: New subcriber!

I see everybody is having the same problem. Either progesterone level are to high or it’s fluctuating causing us to go insane lol., i currently have girl in heat with the progesterone level of 22 ng/ml (idexx) went with the SI based on James videos and progesterone charts and other informative info. We shall see next week if she caught or not. Remember you lose some you win some but don’t quit this is what happens in the dog business.

My bitch has had 2 AIs and on the second the lady said she felt early. She carried out a cytology test and said she was a few days early. The following day I went to a separate clinic to do a progesterone test and they said that her levels are over 140(uk measurement). Should I ignore the Cytology lady?
