Q: We are in Australia and I'm using ng/mol day 11 was a 9 and day 14, today we are at 46 and did a fresh AI but the vets are saying she is already getting too high for levels. We plan to do fresh TCI tomorrow. What would you consider to high for TCI and wouldn't bother. Thankyou kindly. Melissa

Hi James, why do you AI 2 days later from ovulation, so basically at the moment when eggs are ready and not one day after ovulation, beacause it takes time for Semen to reach the eggs for another 12 hours or so, so wouldnt it be better to do 1 day after ovulation?

Ovulated day 12 5.7 Ai two days later 16.6. And then two days after that. Number will be in the 20s

@@purefrenchiekennel313you didnt pull him correctly, have someone else pull him so blood doesn’t cause infection or fail breeding

Hi James, Thanks for all you do on here. I have a unique situation; my GSD is 21 days into her cycle and progesterone test conducted 5 days ago showed levels of 0.244ng/ml. 5 days later and it is 0.68ng/ml. How do you explain this sir? will my 2yr old bitch ever get pregnant? Her heat is still on through and the discharge though watery is still red. Thank you for your kind and urgent response.

What day do you think ovulation took place? Most therio say you need to see a 3+ point rise 24 hours after a 5 to confirm ovulation….is it 3 point or just 1.5x after a 5? All results were from 3/29 were taken 24 hours apart on fasting blood using Bionote V200 3/27/24- 1.64 ng/ml 3/29/24- 4.33 ng/ml 3/30/24- 7.17 ng/ml 3/31/24- 9.73 ng/ml 3/1/24- 14.31 ng/ml

After doing an AI and holding her up for about 45 mins while pinching the area so that the semen doesn't come out, why as soon as I set her down it seems like all the semen came out? Is it okay or did I not go far enough inside?
