I really love these tutorials thanks for doing them. My question is when it comes to hooking a pitcher what factors into them being pulled is it a set number of hits or run allowed, etc…

Usually that is in regards to their stamina and wether you want the pitcher hooked before they hit the red in stamina or maybe even the orange section of stamina. We also have an influence of the score of the game and how they have performed into that hook as well.

Can you do a video on Personnel and their effects on player development. Also how important it is to make sure the people you hire have a good relationship page. Lots of players dont know about that. Also tips on how to get prospects to develop quicker and more efficiently. Ty

I have a question regarding shifts and historical settings: are the default rates based on historical context? I play in perfect team tournaments all of the time and love the historical tournaments (thanks for making those a part of the system!). However, I get confused as to where to set my shift sliders. If I'm playing with modern era settings, will leaving the sliders at neutral mean that my team shifts at a normal mlb rate in 2022 (a whole lot of shifting)? If I leave the sliders at neutral in a historical setting, will that mean virtually no shifting? I'd like my team shifting at or near current mlb rates, but I'm not sure where to put the sliders to achieve this, both in modern and historical settings. These videos are very helpful, thanks!!

Can the [Position Player Pinch hit starting in...] setting be effective in managing platoons when the opponent uses openers, or should you rely on the [If facing an opener] setting? Are both settings useful synergistically, or would that confuse the AI?

I would recommend using the If Facing option over the player pinch hit starting as that won't recognize followers/openers.
