I’ve had geographical tongue my whole life. The shapes it makes is SO interesting sometimes. It typically feels like I burnt my tongue. To validate the potential causes: I have bi polar 2 and notice the patterns form a LOT more when I am stressed. I’m going through it right now, so at least I have a cool tongue to look at? Lol? Interesting info!

I’ve gotten rhomboid glossitis TWICE this year after contracting mono in december. I also contracted Candida/oral thrush alongside it. It’s been very painful, I’ve begun supplementing but nothing really seems to help. I’m assuming I need to get my blood tested. I’ve tested for HIV and allergies but my next step is vitamin deficiencies. Thank you for this, very simple and straightforward delivery.

I've had the black, hairy tongue twice in my life (im now 60), both times I had a gastrointestinal upset, not what he describes. I have excellent oral hygiene, drink a lot of water, and brush my tongue regularly 🤷‍♀️

There was this weird case that I couldn't figure it out , a young man came to me with slight white coat at the very back of his tongue with raised buds , it was also along the left and right side of his tongue down to the tip. Tongue also had new somewhat shallow fissures in the center , his only complaint was bad breath , he claims to have used antifungal and antibacterial drugs without improvement ! Any clues ? Btw I'm just a 3rd grade student

Candidosis can also be caused by acid reflux or Gord

I noticed my geo tongue improved when I got b12 shots once a week for slight loss. And stress makes it worse for sure. But stress deletes your B vitamins I think.
