finally found a vast majority of the leitmotifs, so if you were wondering what they were, here are they: For Phase 1, the main sans melody of hftv phase 1 is the bass (or lower melody, whatever you wanna call it) of Undertale last breath phase 1. There's also Bonetrousle but everybody already knew that one. The one that's very obscure in phase 1 hftv is that in the Snowdin theme part, it aligns with Undertale last breath phase 1 because the first starting notes match. Also right before you fly sideways it takes a part of Bonetrousle (unused). For phase 2, disbelief phase 1 and last breath phase 2, even in the main sans part of phase 2 hftv, at the end, the bell-like melody matches megalovania and nyeh heh heh, and the core theme (which at first i thought was mettaton). That's all. For phase 3, surprisingly, no last breath phase here. Just no more deals in a different style. Although when sans interferes in hftv phase 3, yet again its basically just a continued part of no more deals with the high melody being last breath phase 1. For phase 4, Undertale last breath phase 3 and disbelief phase 3, but basically every aspect of the music (except for the melody) is last breath phase 3. The only hint of disbelief phase 3 is the melody, where the disbelief music is hidden in an obvious spot. And as for the spaceship part, bonetrousle. The transition before the other transition when they're all together, there's a leitmotif of last breath phase 1. And the last part, when all of them are together, there are 3 themes happening at the same time. Firstly, there's the starting melody of megalovania, a different part of megalovania, and lastly, STMPWYFS (Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans). just noticed, there's also bonetrousle hidden throughout the soundtrack, so yeah. So nvm, this isn't the end of phase 4 yet. The ending has a few leitmotifs. Firstly, the disbelief melody part of... phase 4 hftv. Lastly, megalovania, the core theme, and part of no more deals. And also, the bird-like sounds are part of its own theme at 21:51 if you listen to the sans part and not the undyne part. In the last phase, we have quite a few leitmotifs. Part of the build-up melody is part of megalo strike back. Firstly, the starting melody is Undertale last breath phase 4 (fanon, and with disbelief), core theme again, another medium snuck into the soundtrack, bonetrousle (that one's obvious) and then the part of Undertale last breath phase 4 (fanon) that references the different phases of last breath. Also, the first few notes of STMPWYFS is repeated several times. At the end, last breath phase 4 ending is repeated. The last melody stems from Hopes of the Heart from Disbelief hard mode. A lot of the melodies that don't seem to have a connection in this phase is just part of Hopes of the Heart. Comment below if I missed any!

While last breath sounds like a hero against impossible odds and disbelief sounds as tho you are fighting a close friend you betrayed, this ost sounds like it’s one last battle between two hero’s and a villain that can’t be stopped. Here's the thing, when the human spares Papyrus, it means that the human will stop doing genocide routes and make a peaceful ending on the next run, but when sans killed him becase of it, his vengeance roared again and made on another killing spree when he came back through his save file, so Papyrus actualyl made the human do the right thing, but his chance was slimmed because of his brother.

Well, not really. Sans knows that the human is only sparing Papyrus to end the fight, or out of curiosity and doesn't mean it. The human has proven time and time again that they don't care about mercy and would only do it for an ulterior motive. Besides after everything the human put Sans and Papy through, Sans would have to be completely insane to let the human go, hell Papy even admits that Sans is right, and mercy isn't an option... at least he does for a little while.

What I like most about help from the void is that Sans is actually fighting until his last breath. He keeps falling to the ground because of the stamina loss but just keeps going to protect Papyrus. In the normal Undertale Sans only pretended to be tired so he could catch you off guard... that didn't work so well now did it? Something to think about is, you might think paps is much stronger than sans as he seems to have more stamina, but sans is fighting through dealing with a slash in him. Ill give my opinion on how i feel about the soundtracks, I know no one asks for this but i need a time-killer. So, phase 1. In my perspective, the music gives the vibes of a light hearted battle, but going south. The ticking-like beat captivates how something isnt clearly right, but its just... So right at the same time? 1.5: It feels like the feeling of despair, one of rage too. It gives off the vibe like a yinh yang, one wants to end the cycle no matter the cost, while the other wants it to end peacefully while using minimal force. But it clearly shows that both ying and yang work with eachother, as they have a similar goal. Phase 2: The feeling of guilt, but hatred. You can clearly get an undertone of papyrus' ' i dont wanna do this. ' while sans is ' Lets get it over with. ' but then cuts to a intense moment, and the return to their original forms, showing they clearly want the good ole times. They are forced to fight despite wanting to live normally. Phase 2.5: A rush of adrenaline hits papyrus after seeing his brother exhausted. P. 3: Papyrus' clearly wants the best for his brother and himself, he is rough on you to try and convince you to stop this. P.4: The music really shows, that your basicly fucked up. It also sounds like its a bit.. how do i put it.. wrong and unsettling. But you know this clearly isnt the end. Your basicly screwed, but you know you have to keep going blindly. You may have died countless times, but the thrill of a intense battle keeps you going. It feels almost wrong, incorrect tho. P.5: Papyrus'remembers what his original goal was, you can definetly hear the uncertainty of papyrus, yet he tries his best. Then it cuts to sans' part. You can hear its futile for him to continue. He doesnt want to, but he wants to protect his brother with his dear life. I hope i said everything right, also i only mentioned the first minute(s) of the phases.
