Gaster having a card and then getting removed is super telling and very fitting. Its as if he was... erased from existence. This isnt the only piece of merch he was removed from either.

Since you said the devil tarot card can represent being consumed in physical pleasure and greed and such,so dumb stretch here, it could represents the greed for LOVE and that stuff since Chara had that whole scpeel about every time you felt your HP and Defence increase it was me and im guessing getting more powerful would feel good? Idk,kinda dumb stretch but I wanted to put it out there

I think papyrus is the hierophant because he believe anyone can be a good person which is traditional way to think i gessy

Papyrus fits the Hierophant in two major ways: In the Pacifist route, he introduces the concept of being able to date the bosses that are trying to kill the player and earn their friendship. He even indirectly tells the player via a phone call that they can date Undyne despite her still trying to kill them at the time, giving the player another reason to Spare her when Undyne collapses in Hotland. In the Genocide route, he is the only person that genuiely tries to talk the player out of Genocide by appealing to the player's humanity with no tricks or threats. A decent amount of runs were ended just because Papyrus was that good of a person.
