Fr, reminds me of Giygas from Earthbound. Idk why, but Giygas just gives me a certain feeling that invokes disturbance and fear. Omega Flowey did not give off that same feeling - I was fine looking at him, I didn't get what all the fuss was about how scary he is. Neutral Flowey, on the other hand, successfully pulls off that Giygas feeling. He genuinely made me feel scared. But then again, he felt much more psychological horror-y than other stuff in the game

That;s probably because UTYellow spends much more time building up the simple fact Flowey IS in control. Undertale tries this too but in my opinion the transition is short to a fault. Undertale is all about determination, but here I felt... helpless. When Flowey got Clover's soul, I honestly expected the game to just close and lock you out for a bit, kind of like UT's genocide. In Undertale, Flowey is an antagonist, a powerful enemy. But here, he is a force of nature.

Maybe I’m thinking too deeply on this, but there’s a possible explanation for that: Flowey is Asriel’s Soulless self as a Flower. Asriel was a child when he died alongside Chara. Children oftentimes have very colorful imaginations and such. Flowey is essentially a child, albeit a soulless, selfish, and sociopathic one. At least, that’s what I think.

I like the headcanon that the reason Flowey lost control of the human souls so easily in the Omega Flowey fight was because he was doing something like this for all six of the humans to keep them broken enough to puppet. Once Frisk came through breaking the immersion in a sense, Flowey could no longer keep them all in check. Bro was multitasking x6 (Also, in the Omega Flowey fight, it would be an explanation as to why his attacks get super simplified in the final section for a little bit. Flowey tried getting getting back control of the humans so put the fight on autopilot, and then gave up and went as all out as he could)

@@HeavyWeaponsGuyisHornyYeah because in geno you skip Guardener, and the only way to get Ceroba in a neutral run is to abort geno, and the only way to do that is to not meet the monster (or robot in this case) kill quota by the time you reach the Axis fight, and you can’t go back to kill Gaurdener after Axis is dead
