9700x on x870 msi tomahawk, using negative 20 on curve opimizer has increased my performance and further reduced temps. At stock just expo enabled. Stresed at 4.9 all cores around 67c Expo and curve opimizer 20 Stressed at 5.1 all cores 57c Love this 9700x granted some chips is like lottery getting a good 1 but i think this cpu doesnt get much praise as its all about thr X3D cpus at the moment. Best £250 ive spent on a cpu. Thanks for your knowledge 👍

man thas great gives me hope i just bought the 7-9700X Asus Prime X670E Pro wifi not that I yet having issues, but I don't want to even Run Cineabench to see temps... did you only do the Precision Boost Overdrive and curve optimizer thing and saved and exit? or did you also tweak other setting as well? i don't want to OC and do stuff I have no idea of. but if just tweaking those couple setting make a difference then I'm all in. And Thank you for sharing .

there are no bad products but there are products sold at bad prices. this processor has €300 it's fantastic

This works great, in Marvel rivals I went from 160 to 200+ fps and in Helldivers from 80 to 90fps. This also fixed an issue I was having where KZbin and a game would cause stutter. Stuttering overall seems to have gone away too. ❤️

Did you have to update that BIOS before it let you run that CPU? I'm going to build a PC with this CPU, but every compatibility checker says you may need to update the BIOS to run this CPU. That sounds like a pain, I'd prefer something plug-and-play. & Did you every try this CPU on a B650? Did you need to update that?

So, can I do a negative curve of 20 and then active the new 105w TDP mode on the new 9700X? Or just by undervolting i can get more performance?

Was the first overclock you did better with pbo negative 30 curve for performance boost or the second one you did with the undervolt and boosting cpu speed. Also overclocking ram for a cs32 6000mhz to 6400mhz along with undervolting/overclocking cpu and gpu wont cause problems taking into consideration that i do run tests and such. Also is it possible to overclock and undervolt a gpu at the same time for more performance or is it better to just undervolt/overclock to boost performance. Thank you in advance!

For MSI mb:1.XMP on 2.High efficiency mode:enable-tighest 3.Memory context restore:Enable 4.Pbo:Mode 4.END.NOTHING ELSE.6-10% faster than curve optimizer

Well you're basically adding some memory tuning on top of the curve, which I like but I have a dedicated video for that :)

Hey, my processor has 135% utilization when testing with benchmark or on cpu game ( temp is 82 C when 135%, R5 7600) is it worng or can it damage cpu? I did undervolting on 20 and changed TDP to the top option 170W.

@@ImWateringPSUsSo far I've set the curve optimizer to -20 and the TDP to 95W. It boots and seems stable, but it's my GFs PC & she hasn't played a game yet. will try xmp later if this seems stable with games too
