Breath hold is one of the strongest things that helped me to control my mind. Literally many hours of meditating are nothing if you never try to improve breath hold. That moment when you struggle, that one fight with yourself for about one and half minute, maybe two can give you the full control in your mind and body... Body and mind are telling you that they want O2, but you know that you really can live without this for few minutes, the real You want to wait. "Nothing bad is going to happend, im an athlete i have one full breath, my body is gonna be ok" You thing it make sense, so you do what you want... Its never so easy but that's the moment when the real You, for real Your voice try to take the full Control. We fight all the time, the biggest enemy you can see is in the mirror. Always when body or mind are telling you "ah man, im tired of this hard work, take a day off... im bored doing clever stuff, stop studying have some fun etc"... That's moment when Real You need to be loud, and tell them to "stfu im in charge we do what i want, and this what i want is the best for ME" 💪 Ps. I realised that i really like breathing, when you cant do this for 2minutes, you know that you are not gonna passout but you struggle for a long time, everything slowing down, its not comfortable but the moment when you win and start breathing back in the real finish... Oh God, its like i am born again, like first breath of my new life, the best feeling 😉 just being alive and I AM finally controlling this life. Myślę więc jestem i tylko moje dobre myśli mają władzę

I love breath retention training, but just need to emphasize that safety is paramount when it comes to water- DO NOT ATTEMPT breath holds in water training alone.
