HBCU are/were good schools and produced leaders... and good athletes. However, I question the notion of sending kids to any school in the hope they become NFL players. Only 254 are drafted per season. There are 37,000 college football players.The minimum rookie contract is $435,000. A few big name stars eat up the salary cap. The average career is 3.4 years. Patents might as well buy lottery tickets.
