At a Dallas-area event with local officials, Mark Cuban said that white people must have uncomfortable conversations about race. Cuban said from experience, the instinct when discussing race as a white person is to get defensive, but that must change to see progress made. Hear what Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have to say about the difficulties of opening a racial dialogue between Americans.

66% of black families are single parent households, therefore MUCH HIGHER chance live in poverty which leads to MUCH HIGHER chance to have criminal records,leads to MUCH HIGHER chance making a good salary... How could this silly TV show be real they are actors and the script was written. The slaves were in the south. The north had less slaves to none and they actually goshy wow created the banking system and federal government. And skyscrapers. And the wealthy hired nanny's from Europe. The south is rural and not industry and had heard heaviest concentration of black slaves. The east and north of.america had least slaves but way more industry. They were using the immigrants from Europe , etc. Not just black slaves. Back to Drama chick at end did the role of fake weepy girl. Who wants the Oscar? Malcolm X,. Olly I'm not racist creepy dude or fake weepy girl?

Real talk. It’s very rare to witness a conversation on that topic to go like that between a black and white man, especially on tv. It shows a lot about Skip, and that it’s a few honest, apologetic, and understanding white peoples in this world. And that’s a great way to determine if a white person is friend worthy too. I learned that a long time ago, if u can’t admit to it like Skip did, we can’t be on that level.

This was not proper communication. Shannon was very unfair. This was one man blaming another man for something he did not do. It's no different than the police wrongfully putting a young black man in jail on false charges. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. All colors need to be treated fairly. It starts with not putting people in categories. Shannon can hate the slaveowners if he wants too....but they are ALL DEAD.....and blaming Skip made him look racist

Political correctness. That's the term they use to let you know that whatever is said, is a well sounding HALF truth. Not a full lie. Politicians are the basis of that term. So that's why these conversations aren't happening in political settings. That's why they are deemed as UNCOMFORTABLE. because the truth cannot be told with political correctness. No matter how nice I say " there's a good chance your ancestors enslaved someone of my color" or "participated in systemic oppression that your family has benefited from" ....it's gonna ruffle feathers ( as they say in PC culture) So the conversations are shelved. The problem gets BIGGER.. And at some point, the people that wanted to TALK, and we're not listened to...start rioting. Racial riots are NOT "2020"...it's American history because white America doesn't want to listen to it's "illegitimate black children" Like Shannon said " we learned this from y'all"

This is a great show. I watch every episode that I can. These 2 make a dynamic team, like no other I’ve seen. Straight talk. No bs angles. Straight as an arrow on all topics. The reason why racial issues are what they are is majority of men are evil minded. There are many good people on this planet. But, the truth is the good are far outnumbered. The good have to stick together and stand up to no gooders and not be afraid to be outnumbered or stand alone. Know that the no gooders of the world will manipulate, be hypocrites and stand together. The only chance good people of the world have against tyrants of the world is to stand together as well. Against them. Know that you will be outnumbered, do not fear them. If you believe in good and what is morally correct.

I believe there are more than you think, they dont get the air time. Media is designed to create outrage. Although many may be ignorant to these issues, I believe you'll be surprised at how many are willing to have a perspective that isn't their own. The one thing that America's power structure fears most, is a united America. There are bad people in both sides of this argument that want to see it all burn, but I believe they're outnumbered.
@rdogletree4543
@rdogletree4543 3 жыл бұрын
@@randomhero8662 Right, but if people would just think for themselves instead of going by how the next person feels they can see things for what they truly are. Like in 2016 when Trump said Kaepernick was disrespecting the flag. Look at how many people believed and ran with it. He's still saying it today, but not as many are believing it anymore. When people close their eyes or look it side-eyed they don't see it clearly. Everything that's going on now was going on 4 years ago, but the narrative was changed. There are people today that are truly working on trying to change. With the movement of the Confederate Flag, it's great because it's showing that people care. It's not gonna happen overnight, but it's a step in the right direction and that's all we can ask for. One step at a time, everyone one won't change. But if we can get people to open their eyes and minds, they will also have the change to open their hearts as well.
