Russ needs to play 2 Guard. Y’all see his plus minus when he didn’t have the ball? He had zero turnovers. But mostly because he was off ball. Russ would of been a phenomenal 2 guard when he had a mid range shot developing and he was an athletic freak. He had 0 turnovers tonight, but I pray that he can sustain it. I think the solution is to have him focus on scoring rather than forcing assists. He needs to have the triple-double erased from his mind, which is why I would put him at Shooting Guard and have Malik at Point Guard. Of course don't ignore open passes, but if his role is simply to get buckets, do good screens, and crash boards, he will do well. Don't have him setting up plays; have the plays set up FOR him, because he's unstoppable when it comes to getting to the rim.

Russ is so stubborn, he was obviously very conscientious about his turnovers, shot selection, and overall decision making, but he threw shade on the reporter for asking an obvious question of someone who went 407 straight games with a turnover, and were it not for that single game in 2016 against the Trailblazers it would have been 586 straight - March 2013 😂
