I’m a Kobe over Lebron guy any day of the week but I have to be real with myself. Lebron in his 21st season definitely deserved it. He could have done more in the playoffs but he was carrying the lakers at certain times this season and that is the reason we won certain games. I’ve always hated on Lebron but I have to give it to him. It really is impressive. He’s not a true laker and Kobe will always dominate the Lebron debate imo. Booker didn’t really deserve it. What does he honestly do for his team?? He’s incredibly overrated. KD is old and he probably doesn’t deserve it either. I don’t feel he goes hard enough. But I’m Fs giving Lebron that all team. Maybe not over Davis cause Davis was incredible in the post season but he Fs deserves it.

This is a tough argument. Jaylen Brown is underrated and I agree that he should have made all team. However, the comment about the other players being half as good is too strong of a statement. Jason Tatum made 26 points last night compared to Jaylen Brown's 29 points. Brown makes more points than Tatum at times, but look at the other stats. Tatum had 13 rebounds to Brown's 6 and 8 assists to Brown's 2. While it can be argued that Brown came up clutch more than Tatum, it can also be argued that Tatum still takes on the burden of running the offense on the court. In game 3 Tatum made some amazing behind the back assists that led to a number of crucial 3 point shots from Horford and others. Both players are amazing. I can sympathize with Brown in many ways, but both players have been equally valuable in my opinion. Tatum has gotten more recognition, but I think it's due to the fact that most perceive him to be basically the on court manager of the team rather than the more talented player. The CELTICS are extremely fortunate to have both of these players, and as a Celtic fan, I hope we can continue to see both of these players stay together for at least several more years.

Tatum got more consideration for mvp than he ever deserved and its not even his fault. There is just no way anyone in their right mind could argue Tatum is more valuable to Celtics than Joker, SGA or Luka are to their teams. There's only a finite amount of value in a team. And the more balanced a team is, the less value their best player will amount to. And celtics are the most balanced team this year by a mile.
