@WolfgodmakАй бұрын
Sadly he chose himself. Greenlaw was playing smart and sat out bc his knee was getting tight. Better save him for the final 3 and possibly WC (if possible) games so he doesn’t go back on IL again. Dre can just ice it, rest and recover to take on Miami next week but we need someone to sub in just in case Greenlaw needs to take a quick 5mins off. We all know hes not back yet but he shows that he is because thats who he is. Dont let the limitations hinder the love, energy and passion for the game, the team and family.

The biggest issue is and NOBODY touched on it is De’Vondre knew he was only holding the spot for Dre. With that being said if your number is called you need to show up and show out. Yes you were recruited to take his place while he recovered. But that is also an invitation to rise to the occasion and potentially take the spot from Dre. There are many a players who have been injured whether it be year ending injuries or minor injuries where they are out a game or 2. Those players ended up getting replaced because their replacements rised up to the occasion and showed out. Just look at Kaep or Purdy. Both were "unknown", both came in to replace an injured starter, both took their jobs because they showed out. So not only are yu competing every week to win games but you're competing to earn your spot or keep it. Nobody owns a spot. but if you lose your spot to a guy who has been on IR for 10 months that just means he was THAT MUCH BETTER than you and you didnt step up.

Even as a college cross country athlete I get it. I have chronic ankle instability from where I ruptured an ankle ligament senior year of hs. So we’re at our conference championship meet this past season and I sprained my ankle like 200m into the race, I’m a captain and 2nd runner on the team. I ran the rest of the race cos I wanted us to score cos we needed 5. I coulda quit but I didn’t wanna quit on those guys

I remember when Donovan McNab played for Washington and literally broke his ankle in the middle of the game and continued playing. He literally had to have his lineman carry him to the spot of the ball after every play. That was wild!

Looking at the season as a whole, one of the biggest problems was the offensive line. Niners have failed to prioritize the O-line for several years and it keeps costing them. Against the Rams Purdy didn't have time to go through his progressions and there wasn't enough protection for the run game. O-line obviously isn't the only problem with this team, but it's one of the biggest issues they have failed to address.
@rawmeseesoundsavvvy170Ай бұрын
Defense and Special Teams actually are responsible for a good chunk of losses this szn
@jhamakerАй бұрын
