Spot on analysis of the Niners implosion. If Greenlaw does not get hurt in the Super Bowl, no one would be talking three peat for the Chiefs. That is where it started. Lots of injuries as to be expected from an older team. Acho is correct, ego played into it. CMC, Williams, and Aiyuk's extensions mishandled by Niners management as Shady said. As Chase said, it was a perfect storm. But is recoverable. The Niners don't need a rebuild, just a reset. One thing not mentioned is the waste of three first round picks in the Trey Lance trade. Imagine the team today with first round picks in the last three seasons.

@@Reese8531 regardless of whatever we say he’s gonna get paid whether it be 50 or 60 the cap is gonna go up. the cards never fell the niners way this year, i do know that regardless of bad weather or not i saw him single handidly carry the niners through the playoffs and perform a 17 point comeback in the nfc championship game 😂 oh and one of those playoff games (packers game) was in bad weather and he still picked the team back up and won that game.

@ahastar1141 Lions only major injury loss was Hutchinson in week 7 Goff is not missing Sewell, Gibbs, Montgomery and Amon Ra St Brown which is Purdy missed on offense alone

@@bigcohiba298 they have also lost David Montgomery, alim McNeil , Davenport, anzalone, Barnes. They have lost alot of their defensive weapons along with an offensive one. They haven’t lost as many on offense, but they did lose more on defense
