Thank you for your video ! A lot of work on the vehicle And the video for sure.. The Grand Cherokee turned out beautiful !! Just a little tip -- on your metal step --- Measure how long it is, go to H/Depot or Lowes, find some black foam, usually sold for pipe insulation, get enough to go all along the top Edge of your step, and tape the foam to the edge of the step.. This is in case the step "accidently" touches paintwork, the metal step will not harm the paintwork.. Blessings to you and your family ! Fran Danco

How is the maintenance/upkeep as involved as ceramic coatings? My go to is CQuartz UK 3.0 or Gtechniq CSL but this coating looks super interesting. I'm a bit bearish on the longevity claims, but the ease of application/use (glass too, even if it's not a glass specific coating?!) has got my attention.

Very basic maintenance. Really no special requirements. Wash with Undrdog soap or ph neutral soap and recommended use Undrdog Quick detail maybe two times a year to top coating but manufacturer said thats not required.

There are lab tests that they can do to simulate average conditions cars go through and can estimate based on those results how long it will last. But the manufacturer actually washed a panel over a hundred times and it still was holding up so that right there is impressive. Obviously nothing beats true time but I never guarantee xx years but say "up to" and educate that its all about maintenance.

Excellent video. Being with Owner's Pride, I was a bit shocked at your previous videos and how it did not long after coating. My personal truck and car are coated in 7 year. I just coated my wife's car in Undrdog Pro. All 3 cars done about a month apart so ill be able to see how they compare almost directly as time progresses. Regardless, extremely satisfied with UD so far with the depth of color and slickness it has created. May end up switching to them completely who knows.

@@jahdielmartinez6300 not in the least. Died within 3 months of stress testing. Took too much to revive some of the coated sections, others were a lost cause. This was the original single layer 7 year coating formula. They've since changed but who knows. I've been using UD Pro and it's a gamechanger.

Chelsea, Todd, from Esoteric Detail in a video, to never use a clay bar, unless you are going to use a buffing machine after. Because there always will be scratches. Can you elaborate on the appearance of this Underdg Sauce Pro coating? Does it look like most Silicon Dioxide coatings that exhibit a hard glassy shine? OR does it look more like a product that has some carnauba wax in it?

Its not as glass like as some and richens and darkens the color slightly similar to a wax. You can see it in my 20 products on 1 test panel, the pro and lite have a darker appearance than some others. Still great gloss though

Yes. Still going strong, customer is very happy. They wash it about every 2-3 weeks with xtreme suds and topper and it looks AMAZING. It rarely looks dirty more so dusty and washing is a breeze for them.

I've been talkin to the manufacturer and so far everything seems very impressive. He's done some personal testing and has washed a test panel over a hundred times and it still was going strong but really time will be the best test for products like these so I'm excited to see what the outcome is

@@tomlanko2547 far easier to apply, odor is no where near as strong and so far the hydrophobics seem similar. Slickness may not be as much as t6+ but thats not a selling factor for me as I rarely touch my paint. Not sure why thats such a selling point for people.

The word is that Teflon coatings don't last long at all compared to ceramic coatings. ....8 years seems a little hard to believe to be honest and we won't know if it's true until 2029 so in the mean time were supposed to just believe what they tell us....hmmmmm. Teflon coatings are mostly used in India. ...I would be interested where this undrdog company sources this coating? can you find out? thanks

@@attention2detailswchelsea ehhhhhh I should contact the supplier. .....If your stating that this product has 8 years protection without a single shred of evidence it is you who should have contacted the supplier...not me. basically what your saying is that you believe anything your told by a supplier.....If have a coating that I must send you and it lasts for 25 years.....I guess you will just have to take my word for it eh? If you research the components that they say are in this product then it explains why it is so cheap. Teflon coating do not last as long as ceramic sio2 coating. ....and that's a fact and has been proven over and over.....just youtube and you will see. They typically only last 3 to 6 months and are mostly sold in india....can't deny the research results I'm afraid.

Great point! A lot of hype going on here Ceramic buzzwords showing up in the cheapest of brands industry wide. "Graphine" sprinkled stuff getting more $$$ out of buyers even though chemically it can't be isolated for the claims they say. Tons of newbies searching for the newest products they think will magically protect their vehicles with some sort of armor while throwing out tons of money and overfilling their garages with 3/4 full bottles of detailing stuff they will never finish! Not to mention the cheap Chinese products with pretty labels and boxes promoted by detailers that are sponsored that fail after a few weeks because of bad surface prep and customer neglect etc. Oh but hey who cares after govt stimulus money dummies will buy more right?
