This channel is criminally underrated. Thanks for another great discussion, it helps to hear from people who understand. 🙏

I’ve lost 4 jobs in a row due to BPD. I have big dreams of wanting to help people, but am still so symptomatic. Employers reading this, please give those who are struggling with mental health a fair chance! We care!

I love this channel and all the discussions so much it makes me feel less alone and especially in these times of unemployment it becomes very easy for me to lose my objectivity and knowledge of my mental health so these videos really brings a lot of groundedness and that feeling of not being alone.

Why do we all take everything so personally?!🙄 Thanks again for another great topic and for being so relatable. I recognized myself in everything everybody shared. ♥ My absolute non negotiable morning routine is: journal, meditation, breakfast, clean. Especially meditation is really helpful for my mood throughout the day. Cheers to all of you 😘

Thank you for these conversations. I was with a pwBPD intermittently for 10 years, and only discovered about BPD until recently. Unfortunately we couldn't recover the relationship, her mother who is abusive to her and she's enmeshed with basically sabotaged us, after we had been through so much together and been able to make the slightest progress on our relationship. Hearing these things discussed helps me understand her and what happened, I still love her and always will despite that there was abuse and we can't be together. It's still a struggle. I would have probably gone insane or done something crazy if there was no information like this to give us clarity.

Thank you for this video. Also the ghost job applications are driving me out of my mind! This new job market is insane and the process of finding gainful employment is so much worse than it was 6 years ago.

I lost one of my highest paying jobs last year because I had a BPD episode. I have schizophrenia and also autism too, so it’s rare I have full-blown-out episodes. I felt so frustrated that I wasn't able to go back, but I found another part-time job at a restaurant. The pay was low, but hey, it was still a job truthfully I love working I feel like if I’m always in the house it will trigger me off

Also the rejection letter can feel so personal never get excited about new employment until the check lands in the bank.

Opposite for some especially if you are neurodivergent. Volunteering is better for some

It makes sense Jack would be scared of abandonment because when a man looses his job the chance his wife will leave him goes up 30 some %. No effect for women loosing their job.

Y'all are describing your experiences with getting fired and whatnot and honestly I feel like your employers were just... being ableist and perpetuating stigma and it wasn't y'all's faults at all? Like it seems like they pulled some abusive workplace sh!t and then when you rightfully called on it they didn't want to deal with the call-out so they fired you. That's what I'm hearing but that's just me
