During the past few years, social media has further exposed the struggles that African Americans face as a result of the discrimination and racism in the United States. This conversation became more important in the public eye especially after the killing of George Floyd earlier this year. Amidst this conversation, the African American Shia community is generally overlooked and underrepresented in both American, Muslims, and even Shia society. Ahlulbayt TV sheds light on several members of this community to discuss the struggles that they have faced throughout their lives.

Shias are generally much warmer to converts than Sunnis as a general rule, in my experience. More converts are Sunni due to the overwhelming amount of accessible material being Sunni; but when we do reach out to Shi'a communities, we're welcomed with open arms. The best way I can summarize it is: among Sunnis, there's an intense skepticism of us unless we're hyper Salafis. But when I'm among Shi'as, it's as if a lost family members were just reunited.

The online viewership of the documentaries of Ahl-e-Bayt Documentaries perhaps demands that videos should also be split in to sections and topcs published separately. The content will have better market penetration and content segregation will allow particular content to be shared as a reference instead of the entire 50 min documentary. Great work and keep it up, number of views just shows that how the content is not reaching the right audience. People should know about these documentaries.

Our ethnic and racial struggles are so much easier to tolerate and persevere through with the foundation of the Ahlulbayt (.a.s.). One of the sweetest joys in my life is seeing people of different backgrounds embrace Shia Islam. Although the dynamics of our racial oppression are unique to ourselves, it's so much easier to find direction within the greater framework of Islam. If anybody is interested in revolutionary religious philosophy, I would recommend the works of Ali Shariati.

Some find true faith by investigating their ancestry and what went on with their society before them. A weak narration, by Islamic standards might outweigh anything in The Bibles of other faiths, but it does matter what strengths and weaknesses occur in reference to a transmission. We need to realize what terms mean in different languages. Islam only allows mention of color and nationality for accurate physical descriptions and we must not look at such descriptions as being the same as a character judgement. Yellow was those who looked like their ancestry was from the north, black from the south, and white was the brown skinned people with black woolly hair that was sometimes dyed yellow or red that resembled more pure bred Semites. The mostly white, non immigrant (Real immigrants are _continent other than the Americas_ American) Blacks face less discrimination in the Muslim majority community than the Whites who are of Ancestry north or west of Turkey. People need to look past whatever the people do and what faiths really are.

Part of our Arab and persian brothers' issues is the same fate that befell every other nation or people who were conquered at some point or other by Europeans: They convinced you that everything good is white and everything dark is bad and ugly. Our Holy ones are innocent of this bane,, and base level of consciousness. And Allah is Akbar!!!!

Refusing to admit to the crimes of the past is evidence of an extreme insecurity in your identity and faith. The Europeans can admit to the atrocities of their past, why can't muslims? But the most annoying thing is someone like you "ArabicMusicLady" having an opinion on these Muslim brothers.
