Today I receive a proposal while shopping at Goodwill. I am thrifting looking for items to sell online. I also stop at a few other stores along the way. I find 2 items I can sell for $100 plus and let you know what decision I had to make.

I live in Miami, Florida. The Goodwills here charge a lot for their goods. They have junk from the dollar stores that they sell for three dollars. No lie. You wouldn't want any of the worn, cheaply made clothing. I watch channels like yours and it really bothers me that we can't buy what you can. I have purchased a few things in GW here, but not for resale, just for me and my husband. Love your channel.

Same here in Ocala Florida they sell dollar tree items for 4.99 and 4.99 they sell Walmart tees 7$ for a beat up shirt Nothing Good about Greedwill!

Value Village in Canada just got called out by a investigation news company for doing the exact same thing. They are charging double or more for items that you can purchase new at the dollar store… You really have to know your prices…

Goodwills in Connecticut are the same. Not much selection. Prices are high. Senior discount is only 5%. Very rarely I can find something worth reselling. I keep trying though. 😀

Goodwill is on eBay underpricing all reseller on dvd and books and some glassware just plain ridiculous they are not a nonprofit. We need to do something about that and remove that title they have.greedwill needs to pay taxes period!!!

Our local Goodwill stores in Southern California are empty, dirty and extremely over priced. The contrast between our thrift stores and yours is unbelievable! I’m about done with our Goodwill stores. Also, buyer beware on any jewelry/ mystery box purchases. Goodwill tests all jewelry. If it’s real gold or silver it’s shipped off for online sales or sold for bulk gold/ silver… melted down.

My youngest son carves and creates walking sticks from wood he finds while hiking with my grandson and at his work at the natural tunnel in sw Virginia. They’re beautiful. He just made one for my husband and added copper wire to conduct the earths energy into your hand and body.

In Kingman Az, we have one Goodwill, they took the dressing rooms out and most of the employees, especially the manager are VERY FRIENDLY!!!!

I live in Kansas. Part of the state offers a Discount Card for $5 good for a year at GW stores listed in the back. You get 10% off every day and 20% off Wednesdays. Problem is It isn't good in the city I live. But we do have weekly color discounts here for now.

Goodwill in MARION COUNTY Ocala Fl prices are insane they have security room they have caught their Own Employees Stealing Not one Cop called but called on ppl that steal clothes and Jewelry from donations they went through Manager after manager the one they HAVE NOW IS HATEFUL AND ALL ABOUT PRICES INCREASES PPL KNEW WHAT REALLY GOING ON IN THAT PLACE DONATIONS WOULD 10 percent plus they only Do for a Tax Write off at the end of the year 💯💯💯💯

If the Goodwills in my area have any kind of discounts they are not advertised or posted! Since right after covid selections have dramatically dropped! I dont know if resellers are getting to things before me, folks are just not donating, or they are sending items off to sell online. At one time I would go twice, sometimes three times a week and find something! Now I go maybe once a week and rarely find anything.

You've got better rates than the Goodwills in Southwest Florida - we get 20% off on senior day - Wednesday, color of the week is half price and on the last day it goes to $1.99. Some don't even have color of the week anymore.

So the GW in Kansas had a discount card you could buy for $5, and you got 15% off on purchase! 20% off certain days! Now I am in Iowa. So they have a discount percentage off via email! But it usually is only for a few days to use it!

Hey Mikey 👋 @1:49 that is actually Cholla wood. Super popular in fish tanks, reptile, but also in all kinds if decor. Its nit actually wood its the bone like structure the Cholla cactus (choy,•ya). Its usually sold in 6" pieces but a big piece like that would net at least 20 or more. I have used it in macrame, a Beta tank and other crafty decorating pieces, like florals.

the second store u were in (goodwill) was nice and clean..everything was placed (not thrown) on the shelves..the jewelery has a display case and the jewelery is all place nicely on the shelves..here in appleton wi...the goodwills look like a junk shop in comparison to your shops...here they are messy and everything on shelves are looks like it was thrown onto the shelves.....nasty...it did not use to be that way...who ever is running our shops now are not doing a good job......sad

That "interesting wood thats honeycombed" is just a dead joshua tree (also called yucca) stem from the desert there outside of Las Vegas. Unbelievable!!

@@MikeyBagsOfMoney Yes we have those here in SE AZ - in some elevations. They also are similar to dead cacti limbs of specific varieties. The dead cacti can be really wild looking when found in the desert along with the Mesquite branches and other tree / shrubs when all dead, dried out and splitting apart!!! Very sculptural!

Apologies for not subscribing sooner I would watch you on my tv while I do my listing for the longest time but I’m not signed in on my tv then I realized that I wasn’t subscribed so I had to add you on my channel lineup. Good move keeping the bugs Nike shirt definitely worth more than 40 certainly an awesome find! I’m on the east coast CT and our goodwill’s usually look like the employees literally throw the stuff on the shelves, like a tornado ran through the place, much nicer shelf placement in your neck of the woods. I love thrifting more than selling it’s so much fun you never know what you’re gonna find, we have some local thrift stores run by charity foundations around here way better than goodwill and prices are better too. Excellent video as always can’t wait to see what you find next, o and btw Ronald McDonald is definitely creepers but some of his stuff can bring in a decent buck!
