I agree that Blindside / Christian didn’t get to stand out enough. But that said, I’m so so pumped to see them back in the scene and hopefully we get new music from them soon! I feel pretty confident that Matty would actually point to Christian as a major vocal influence on him. I think a lot of post hardcore bands like MMF would say the same (Wolves at the Gate, for example). Top 3 Blindside songs for me: - Pitiful (Saosin agrees!) - About a Burning Fire - Caught a Glimpse

Blindside is my favorite band. Christian’s vocals sounded great but were like drowned out by the music. I don’t know if it’s a mixing issue or an arrangement issue. The song itself felt very poppy and generic to me. Didn’t love it. Christian was recently featured on a different song too that is much better and lets his voice shine much more. It’s called Dark Ride by Islander.
