Another great vlog, Roger, and another great hidden gem in Dirleton Castle. Magnificent, both inside and outside. Beautiful setting, and definitely worth exploring. Many thanks for the trip down memory lane !, it must be almost half a century since i visited the castle & it's wonderful gardens & many decades ago meals at the Open Arms across the road with my Grandparents😊, the area around Dirleton green looks like many typical English villages , i guess there must of been a strong Anglo-Saxon influence which ruled for hundreds of years in South East Scotland & explains the origins of many village names particularly in East Lothian , keep up the great work Roger , it is much appreciated !.

Dirleton is a lovely place to go on a summer day. That Castle was well needing looked at. I was there a few years ago, and my daughter got hurt. She fell straight through the boards they had covering off a fireplace.
