Dear Mr. Dirty Old Stachebag, I'd like to thank you for all the videos you make. I was raised fishing saltwater fish my entire life. Due to events I was forced to relocate about 200 miles away from the nearest body of fishable saltwater. After seeing all the tips, tricks, and minor notes of rod handling and gear I've finally ended a 6 year streak of fishing without catching so much as a bluegill. Thank you so much and keep up the videos, I know you never really meant for them to be instructional but for a freshwater novice like me they were amazingly helpful. Rough day, I fished Friday the 26th, tons of action, go back to the same lake the next day and use the same lures, do the same things, and barely catch anything... The moon phases and water being HOT screws em up. I like fishing after rain storms.

summer fish here in one pond are just eating at night, the water levels keep dropping and weeds up from the bottom are warm to the touch. Just a few degrees in temperature change or a soaker rainstorm would make them more lively. just got one bait volunteer the other day, but at least it was not a shut-out. Good to see you not give up.
