Imagine having 5 children plus dozens of grand and great grandchildren and still feeling completely alone in life. I'm glad that I watched the entire episode and heard Victor and Angel talk about loneliness in the elderly community, because that's such an important topic. We can look at their marriage from the outside and make assumptions about why they're together, but what I see is two people who have a genuine love and friendship that is mutually beneficial. Victor knows his wife will be there to love and care for him in his remaining years, and Angel knows she has a husband who loves, respects and provides for her.

I totally agree. She’s there with a genuine and pure heart. He’s wanted her from the first day he met her until her finally got her. I’m all for it. Those kids of his had plans to throw him in a facility and walk away but God!!! He worked it out in his favor. He who find a wife find a good thing. It’s amazing to hear that he invested in her during her younger years. He helped with college tuition and taught her how to invest in stocks. He set her up for success a long time ago. This episode resonated with me soo much. I have spent my entire life around the elderly and it is soo real what Angel said. I have served as a caregiver for my mom, my aunt, and now my 77-year old veteran "2nd cousin". My 2nd cousin is my mom's cousin and with 3 kids, 4 grandkids, 5 great-grand kids, and a great-great grand, I, at this vulnerable place in his life is his primary advocate. I understand what Victor meant and how he felt about feeling lonely with such a large family of his own because my cousin has expressed that same sentiment to me as well. A lot has changed for my cousin physically, he is now totally dependent on people. He has a wealth of knowledge and is still eager to live and likes to have fun. He now has to live his life in a nursing home but I will continue to advocate for his needs because he's my family, he looked out for me when I was young, and he sacrificed his life in the military so that I can live my life a little more freely. As long as they as they are happy and they know who they are to each other, live life happily...besides we only get one chance at life. Love the one who loves you back! I do believe it was a sugar baby relationship at first but she was smart to not just rely on him she got an education to make sure she was set with or without him! But now they are both rich so she’s not just marrying for his money. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Amazing story! What I love is that the older gentleman - Victor seems very respectable and he is able to articulate very well whenever he's asked a question. Ms. Angel looks lovely inside & out, respectable and of course is a very feminine woman. This makes their story so much more interesting & he passes on his knowledge & has plans for their future. I understand Victor and Angel completely. I'm a black woman in my late 50's, and I'm in love with a 92 year old white man. When people see us together, I'm sure that most of them think that I'm with him for his money, but we could care less what people think. Not that it matters, but I can assure you that I have a lot more than he has. All that I know is that he is a very kind, and loving man that makes me very happy. He's something else! He makes some corny jokes though, but that's ok too because when I hear him laughing, it brings me so much joy. God forbid, but if I left this world tomorrow, I know for a fact that I was surely loved, and I know that he feels the same. Every night before we sleep, we thank God for bringing us together, and every morning when we wake up, we thank God for another day of togetherness. Mr. Victor reminds me of my own father, age 75. They always like an younger woman. In my view, I see it’s a mutual and respectful relationship. For him, it’s companionship and wanting to be needed. Angel you are such a blessing in so many ways. I care for my aging father I recently rescued from starvation after his daughter refused to allow him to return home after getting guardianship of him against his well. He aged years in a few months and cognitively is in bad shape. I sincerely started this episode in a very negative space just by the title and for that I sincerely apologize. This is what genuine love looks like because you are standing next to him regardless of what others may think or say. Blessings to you both and you have given him another 50 years in his mind and heart.

I started over from the beginning with the mindset of being open minded as I watched. I don't think she's a gold digger. They have genuine love for each other.
