I use to be one of those fans that felt a way as I am a Usher super fan. I will never forget when Tameka wrote the open letter that was posted in Ebony/Essence and I was in awe and felt so bad that she had to even do that. Her writing was amazing and she was so vulnerable and showed that she’s a person. I reached out to her on Twitter, she responded…numerous times and was so funny and nice. I hate how folks treat others. She’s phenomenal.

I think fans forget they don’t actually “know” these people they admire and follow. You can love a person’s talent, skills, etc but their personal life is their choice and business. I’m a Beyonce super fan but I could care less about her personal life…In reality and real life…I don’t know the girl. But hey…that’s just me.

23:18 I love her response. A guy I know told me, "Women coming out of college are your competition." I'm 44 years old. As much as people would LOVE to cosign this man's comment, it doesn't fit my life as I don't view other women, younger or older, wealthier, more attractive, etc as my "competition" and NEVER WILL!!!! I LOVE ME, and I also want others to love themselves! I genuinely love to see people win and succeed! There could never be competition between 2 very different people ANYWAY! ❤❤❤

Competition for what? It can only be for a man he was thinking because it's not a job. With that being said, if I did compete for a man's attention against any other woman, then I've bumped my head and forgot that man GOD has for me will want me. I am unique.😊

Im confused as to why people are unsure of why Usher chose her...she is a Beautiful Woman! Tameka is a brilliant, confident, charismatic, and beautiful woman. THAT is why she is a magnet for both platonic and romantic relationships. She is amazing and it 's no secret as to why/how she attracts the people in her orbit. Wishing her an abundance of peace, love, and blessings.

I remember when Usher had his reality show (he was one of the first) and his mother did not like her so much so that she didn’t even go to the wedding. That marriage was doomed from the start but at least she moved on somewhat

The title of her book reminds me of the Word of God. The Lord continue to tell me to stand firm in the liberty where which has made me free. Galatians 5:1. Conversations that I hear always brings a scripture to my heart. Thank you Laterras for your obedience.
