I agree Chazz! Let’s have the boss in a sit down- I am pertaining to Michael’s wife. We want to hear how much toll it takes for a woman to stand up during those tumultuous years. Yes, Michael could have been giving the whole world to her but in return she had to deal with the fact that the guy did things as his duty to the mob. How strong love was because I’m telling you for a woman to stay like that with you- that’s love, that’s commitment. We want to know what was her frame of mind because how do you raise a family, kids, particularly while your husband is away and the things you would hear from other people. They have a completely different world so I salute her on that. It would be so interesting to hear!

As a Roman Catholic I can say that my father always had the lord when I was growing up but upon his passing I lost him in denial, and as I age I understand the sacrifices we have to make to enter the kingdom knowingly and it’s only with true faith and sacrifice that one can enter. Thanks fellas god bless!

By God's grace alone through faith ALONE in Jesus Christ EVERLASTING sacrifice. Repenting of sins is profitable to yourself and your fellow man (and pleases God) but it does not save you. We have done NOTHING to earn, deserve or maintain our own salvation.

I feel your story Michael, on so many levels, I listen to Greg Laurie also, I was facing a court case and i felt hopeless like you said my world just crumbled around me just finding no reason to live. I remembered a sermon where Laurie preached about Elijah being persecuted and hopeless hiding in a cave asking God to take his life, And God told him to Go rest, and go out and serve him. I asked God to take away my hopelessness and bring joy in my life once again . God has always come thru for me and I Your life is inspiring and knowing that when you hit rock bottom the only place to look is up to the sky where the Lord sits on his throne. Keep inspiring other believers to trust Jesus

I love what Michael said about the difference between Vatholicd and Christians! I was baptized Catholic, but consider myself Christian because I don't believe in confessions to a priest and he can firgive you. I think I pray to God and he's the only one that can forgive me! I respect the priest and believe he's a man of God, but he isn't God. I married a Lutheran in a Lutheran church and the difference between Catholic and Lutheran is you Don't ask the priest gor forgiveness. Other than that, they are the same. Oh, also you don't have to get permission to divorce, like you do in the Catholic faith. Which I'm glad, because I was my husband's third wife! We did have a counciling session before the priest married us. We were married over ,40 years before he passed, and like Michael I was 24 and he was 17 years older. So there was doubts in peoples minds. He didn't have money and we had hard times, but I would fo it again in a heartbeat,!

Perhaps he believes Jesus is Son of Man/God from what he read in the Bible but doesn't believe Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World and therefore doesn't have a personal intimate relationship with HIM. Most likely, he probably believes in other gods. No one can come to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws them.❤

MICHAEL…. Being born again means to repent of all your sins, take up your cross and follow Christ. Being baptized is part of being obedient to Christ and it goes along with being born again. Your life completely changes when you’re born again and you desire to live a holy life. You desire to spend time in God’s word and obey what it says. LOVE YOUR SHOW and so thankful you are a brother in Christ. Just wanted your followers to know it’s more than baptism. 🙏🏻🥰🙏🏻

This is my daily prayer for repentance: "Dear Lord, thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for not abandoning ourselves to our mistakes. Help convict me of sin and to accept your mercy without shame. Thank you for your love and help me live out of that love today. In Jesus's Name. Amen. Dear Wise & Wise Guy, With all due respect Michael said that as a former Catholic he viewed Jesus as not exactly a man’s man. It’s unfortunate but it seems as if Michael didn’t have the strongest catechesis or formation as a Catholic growing up. Fortunately I grew up with strong and knowledgeable Catholics around me so I was taught early on that Jesus was indeed a man’s man. I was taught to explain all of the Catholic Church’s teachings using the Bible. Michael also seems to think that we Catholics depend on saints to help us get to heaven with that shaking hands with all the saints on the way to heaven story that he shared. As Catholics we don’t need saints to get us to heaven or as go betweens for us & God when we want to speak to God. As Catholics we simply view the saints as having friends in high places because they have already made it heaven so their prayers are more righteous/powerful than those prayers conducted by sinful men on earth. We simply ask the saints to pray for us or to echo our prayers so that our prayers are stronger. The same way that Michael probably asks his pastor to pray for him but we Catholics ask the our priests, family, friends and we ask the saints in heaven to pray for us as well because a righteous man’s prayer is more powerful as the Bible says and saints are already in heaven so they are more righteous than us sinners here on earth. In addition I want to set the record straight that we Catholics are indeed Christians because we officially believe that Jesus Christ is our only God. Also Chazz, we Catholics are indeed born again Christians because we were baptized as children. The Bible places no age limit on baptism. Baptisms are valid whether it occurs to a baby, a middle aged man or to an old man on his death bed. Regardless the baptism is valid. If anyone wants to defiantly wants to claim that infant baptism is not valid then take it up with God because he never excluded children (just as the Jews didn't exclude children when they circumcised them at 8 days old). Baptism replaces circumcision so it makes sense that Jesus would allow infant baptism. Therefore Chazz we Catholics are born again Christians because most of us were baptized as babies and the Bible says a person must be born of water to be born again aka baptized. Therefore us baptized Catholics (including baptized babies) are considered born again aka born again Christians. Therefore by definition and theologically we baptized Catholics are indeed born again Christians. In addition the bible says that there is one baptism (not 2 or more). Therefore when Catholic babies are baptized they instantly receive the holy spirit so when an adult leaves the Catholic faith and says he was baptized by his/her pastor, its not another baptism. It's a conversion experience but not a 2nd baptism as there is only one baptism where the human receives the holy spirit according to the bible (Ephesians 4:5). I mean no disrespect but I had to stand up for us Catholics as I heard many things that seemed to misrepresent the beautiful and true Catholic Faith. I honestly feel that most Catholics that truly study our official beliefs would never leave the beautiful Catholic faith. Most of the people that leave the Catholic Church never really truly understood the teachings nor took the time to really learn them 🙏. They couldn’t explain most or any of the Catholic Church’s teachings using the Bible. Therefore they never truly knew or understood the Catholic church’s teachings so they weren’t aware of the beauty that they were leaving for a Protestant Christian church somewhere else. I encourage everyone on here to listen to the Scott Hahn conversion story available for free here on KZbin. It’s an amazing story and shows how so many people mistakenly believe misconceptions about the Catholic Church but those folks are wrong. All of our Catholic beliefs can be supported using the Bible if you talk to a well informed Catholic and not a low information cultural lukewarm Catholic that has never took the time to learn their Catholic faith using the Bible. By the way I can say the same thing about some non-Catholic Christians as I have friends that grew up attending Protestant churches and today they couldn’t explain their Protestant beliefs neither. The fact is that Catholics and Protestants both have lukewarm members that never made the time to read the Bible or study their faiths. God Bless all. Here is the amazing Scott Hahn conversion story that I referred to and invite all to listen to. I’ve shared the original (most popular) 1989 version, the 2002 version and the 2021 version for your pleasure. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hl7Fq2ehh9l2h6ssi=AgC6Plhh_Nxm1Jph kzbin.info/www/bejne/jprPq3qCm8yXbaMsi=ogML7a96uT0PqvpT kzbin.infoWY6zu23mRKw?si=kNLyZF7hK9FxN8OS Los Angeles CA, Marco R.
